BANGLDESH – Routine Attacks on Hindus Hiindu temple Deity broken in Magura, man caught red-handed

Magura news, 11th July, 2017: Special Correspondent: An incident of deity destruction has taken place in one of the temples in Natun bajar, Sahapara of Magura. Police have arrested Sohail Mir (45), accused in this case. Sohail is the son of Iku Mir of Council para in Magura. Additional police Superintendent Tarikul Islam said that at around 8pm , Sohail entered the temple owned by Bablu Saha in an intoxicated condition and damaged the idol of Lord Shiva, broke its head and kept it on the Kali idol. He also damaged the furnitures inside the temple. On hearing the noise, Bablu’s wife along with his younger brother’s wife locked the temple gate tactfully and informed the police. Police came on the spot and took him into their custody. Legal action will be taken against him.Only hope that is not the end.
