Nationwide Agitation if 'Singham Returns' is not banned : HJS
July 28, 2014

Will not tolerate Defamation of Hindu Saints & glorification of Mosques ! Mumbai :
Trailers and promos of 'Singham Returns', slated to release on August 15th, are being popularised on different types of media. These promos have scenes that can inflame communal sentiments. A Hindu Saint has been shown as the main antagonist. The protagonist, Ajay Devgan, is shown threatening the Saint with the words 'Main tera do kaudi ka pravachan sunne nahin aaya hun' (I have not come here to listen to your useless discourse). Elsewhere in the promos, the same protagonist is shown (in Police uniform, accompanied by other actors also in uniforms) wearing an Islamic skull cap, performing 'namaaz' and also proudly saluting the mosque. What category of secularism do these actions fall into? In the interests of stopping communal sentiments being hurt and the society being saved from being handed a wrong message, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has appealed to the Central Film Censor Board and the producers, 'Reliance Entertainment', to withdraw the movie. If this request is not complied with, then a Nationwide Agitation will be launched on the 3rd of August.

Bajirao or 'Ghazi'rao Singham ?
Bajirao Singham, the protagonist, proudly calls himself a 'Maratha'. But instead of abiding by the teachings of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (who lead by example when it came to honouring Hindu Saints) Singham chooses to disregard them. In this light, he should be renamed 'Ghazirao Singham'! We want to know if the producers have the gall to vilify some Maulana or Christian Priest! The senseless Censor Board, which has repeatedly shown its inability to curb attacks on Hindu Dharma (through media), will be morally responsible for any law and order situation that will arise if the movie is released. So the onus is on the Censor Board to ensure that the Producers of the movie implement the necessary changes. All the pro-Hindu organizations have unitedly declared that defamation of Hindu Deities and culture will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Is Kolkata a city of Islamists only?

Syed Ahmed Road at Entally in Kolkata on June 24 at 8.30 am was just like any other day and Ashraf Alam had just opened his meat shop. He was with his assistant in the shop and was awaiting customers. All of a sudden, contrary to expectation of anyone in the locality, a youth came near Ashraf and fired at him. Even if the assailant’s intention was to pump bullets into chest of Ashraf, his foot was badly hit. The unknown assailant fled soon leaving Ashraf Alam behind in a pool of blood. The scene was more than enough to panic Ashraf’s relatives and neighbors but they managed to admit him to the NRS Hospital in a critical condition.

Who is the criminal? When police was asked the same question, they termed a local criminal named Mohammed Sarafu to mastermind the ghastly effort. While talking to locals it was learnt Mohammed Safaru had demanded Rs. 2 lakh as extortion from Ashraf Alam and when the demand was turned down, Sarafu attacked him. Incidentally, both Ashraf Alam and Mohammed Sarafu work as sources of Intelligence Branch of Kolkata Police and such crimes of Sarafu are not unknown to a section of police officials. Mohammed Sarafu has not been arrested yet while reportedly, police is trying to give a cold shoulder to the incident.

While police seems to be indifferent to the crime of Mohammed Sarafu, political parties in the opposition are not ready to condone any such laxity. And this can be found from their stances in the Howrah case happened of late. They are already up in arms against police’s incapability to arrest Riaz Ahmed and Dipak Shaw, two Howrah-based extortionists. These two extortionists’ alleged threat calls led to the death of Sumit Naha, a hotelier in Howrah, at his Baguihati residence. According to reports, Sumit Naha died of heart attack following the calls. The victim’s family has already submitted CCTV footage of gangster Dipak Shaw who had attacked Ashish Manna, hotel’s manager. Both these gangsters having alleged links to reigning Trinamool Congress do operate in the Howrah station area. The Naha family has been involved in running their Bridge Lodge in the same area for the last four decades. However, neither Riaz nor Dipak, his accomplice, started controlling the area from yesterday. If truth be told, there is no end to this crime syndicate, ever fortunate to have blessings of politicians and strengthened by apathy of police and administration.

What is most striking this type of affiliation to crime is prevalent among one particular minority community in India. They loathe refraining from controlling society and leave no stone unturned to do the same. Unfortunately, such a spate of crimes, as a result, is no more limited to felons or hard-line fundamentalists of the community and in this period of consumerism, youngsters are also coming up fast. Faizal Imam Khan happens to be the paradigm of such changing patterns of society. Faizal has been arrested for abetting an adolescent girl to commit suicide. It has been found, the victim girl used to live with her parents and elder sister in the Parnasree police station area and got introduced to Faizal through Facebook. But soon she got skeptical of Faizal’s foul intention and broke the relationship. Faizal avenged this breakup by disseminating abominable info of her in walls of Facebook; she was termed as a call girl and her cell number was also flashed through several posts. Accordingly, she got frequent calls from unknown persons who were interested to hire her. Being unable to tolerate these insults, the adolescent girl committed suicide.

Is Trinamool using Jamaat-e-Islami,
Bangladesh to reign smoothly?

There have been multitudinous arguments for and against and also denials regarding illegal infiltration of Bangladeshis to the Indian state of Bengal down the ages but the arrest of Nur Hussain has brought the cruel truth to the fore. Bengal is the most vulnerable state before the spate of illegal infiltration and there is no immediate end to this perpetual agony owing to its porous international border with Bangladesh. Nur Hussain, convicted with the murder of 7 persons at Narayangunj in Bangladesh, was arrested along with two accomplices named Zaman and Selim from an apartment in Kaikhali, Kolkata on June 15, 2014 at 11.30 pm by the Anti-Terrorist Cell of Bidhannagar Commissionerate and a police team from Baguihati police station. However, this, as per analysts, happens to be tip of the iceberg.

It must also be mentioned, Mr. Manas Ghosh, editor of Dainik Statesman, in an article penned by him and published in the esteemed daily on January 12, 2014 had brought forth some related and graver aspects. It was stated in the article without qualms that Hasnabad along with Barasat and Basirhat have become hubs for Jamaat cadres and other Muslim terrorists from Bangladesh. Following each act of arson in Bangladesh and to get proper treatment along with protection, they take refuge in these places and in this case, they are helped by a large network of Muslim refugees from India to Bangladesh hell-bent to avenge their transportation. This network maintains rapport with several representatives of the existing ruling clique in West Bengal. And all these are taking place under the aegis of ruling Trinamool Congress.

The issue is enough to bother a sane individual. But at this time such a grave accusation has been brought forward by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to its studies, Trinamool hobnobs with dreaded Jamaat-e-Islami of Bangladesh and a full-fledged report based on this has already been submitted by the Party to the Ministry of Home Affairs in New Delhi. It has been learnt, the report pins the blame on Trinamool Congress and describes in detail how Islamist forces together with smugglers, terrorists from Bangladesh and abetted by Trinamool’s activists are persecuting Hindus in the state. The entire campaign is fallout of a vicious design to alter demography in the state rapidly. Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Home Affairs, has assured to adopt pertinent measures in this context fast.

On the word of Central team of BJP that visited terrified Sandeshkhali almost two weeks back, relation between Trinamool Congress and Jamaat-e-Islami in Bangladeshi is no new development. To escape police or military investigations in areas like Satkhira, Rajshahi or Bagura in Bangladesh, Islamic terrorists including Jamaat cadres take refuge in Kolkata, its outskirts and various other places in Bengal often and local Triamool leaders succor them. These militants, in return, help the.

Was Narendra Modi the real target of MH17 shooters?

WAS NARENDRA MODI
THE REAL TARGET OF

MH 17 SHOOTERS? JULY 29, 2014

New information has emerged in the aftermath of the shooting down of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH 17 which was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur.

According to reports in the media, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was scheduled to take off at 1 PM from Frankfurt on his way back to India from Brazil where he had gone for a meeting of the leaders of the BRICS countries. His flight eventually took off at 1:22 PM. Had Modi’s flight taken off at 1 PM as the earlier reports had indicated, it would have been in the vicinity of the shooting within six minutes of the Malaysian Airlines flight being shot down.

Depending on the wind conditions and the air traffic controller’s instructions, it is also possible that Modi’s aircraft was routed first over the Donetsk area as MH 17 crossed the longitude of Frankfurt at a point roughly a little more than 130 miles to the north of Frankfurt. The flying time from Frankfurt to Donetsk can also be confirmed by looking at the flight logs of commercial flights from Frankfurt to Delhi on the websiteflightaware.com. A Lufthansa flight on this route one day prior to the tragedy took 2 hours and 25 minutes after takeoff to arrive within fifty miles of the latitude and longitude of the ill-fated flight.

It should also be noted that neither Russia nor Ukraine stand to gain anything from shooting down civilian aircraft. The negative propaganda surrounding any such shooting would hurt them. Furthermore, the Hindu reported that Ukrainian officials initially exonerated the rebels in the aftermath of the shooting when they stated that the rebels did not possess the kind of missiles that could reach the altitude at which MH 17 was flying.

The Ukrainian government has also contradicted itself in the flurry of information that it has been putting out along with its allies in the West. A couple of days before the shooting of the Malaysian Airlines jet, it accused Russia of bombing the village of Snizhne. Yet, it has now produced a photograph that is purportedly the image of the contrail from the missile that brought down MH 17. This missile was supposedly fired from Snizhne which they now claim is controlled by pro-Russian rebels. The accusation that Russia carried out a bombing raid on Snizhne is not logically consistent with the claim that pro-Russian rebels control this village.

Strangely, the only people who claim to be absolutely certain about the identity of the perpetrators of the crime are the officials in the Ukrainian government and their Western allies. They have produced ‘evidence’ in the form of recorded phone calls, a video of the missile being “smuggled” to Russia without being covered, a photograph of smoke from the missile (this is supposed to be like the ‘smoking gun’), and tweets allegedly made by the pro-Russian rebels. The rapidity with which they have produced these pieces of alleged evidence and the manner in which the Western media has faithfully propagated the claims of their governments without verifying the claims points in the direction of the flow of information being carefully managed. It is also not convincing that the pieces of ‘evidence’ they have produced are authentic.

The alleged recording of the phone call between the pro-Russian rebels one of whom was at the site of the crash even contains a dubious claim that a body from the plane was that of an Indonesian student of Thompson University. It is not clear how they identified either the nationality of the victim or the fact that this person was a student as soon as they reached the scene of the debris from the plane. What makes the claim dubious is that there is no university named Thompson University in any part of the world unless we take into account a website that sells degrees online. There is a Thompson Rivers University in Canada but they have clarified that none of their students was aboard the plane.

If Western countries are indeed indulging in a disinformation campaign, this would not be the first time they have done so. During the bombing of Yugoslavia in the 1990s, photographers positioned themselves inside a barbed wire enclosure and photographed refugees of the American bombing with the barbed wire fence in the foreground and claimed these were photographs of concentration camps similar to those in Nazi Germany. It was also the backdrop of the attack on Yugoslavia that Hillary Clinton used during her presidential election campaign when she made up a story about an assassination attempt on her. She claimed to have run from her plane with her head down as bullets from sniper fire were buzzing around. This ridiculous story was faithfully carried out in the American media and most of her voters supported her based on this claim. More recently, when an American ambassador was killed in Benghazi by terrorists who may have received help from the Obama administration, the State Department under Hillary Clinton covered up her failure with the help of the media and pinned the death on Muslims who were stereotyped as violent people who went wild after watching a YouTube video that insulted Islam.

What makes the claim that MH 17 was mistaken for an Ukrainian military plane a highly questionable one is that the plane was just 20 miles from the Russian border and the Ukrainian government would not dare provoke Russia by sending military planes to cross over into Russian airspace. It is unlikely that the anyone could have mistaken a plane headed for Russia as an Ukrainian military aircraft.

If was mistakenly brought down, it is important for those who are interested in the truth to investigate those who have opposed Modi for more than 12 years. Since late 2001, many international forces have carried out a sustained campaign against Modi and have used their favorite method of using human rights organizations to fling mud at him and have even accused him of human rights violations. None of their attacks worked over the years as their allegations did not stand the scrutiny of the Indian courts. Modi has even been banned from visiting the US because they fear that India under his guidance would become independent of the Western institutions like the World Bank. The propaganda against him in the British and American media reached a feverish pitch before the general elections earlier this year.Modi’s election in May as the Indian Prime Minister caused a huge geopolitical earthquake, and any harm to him will have great ramifications around the world. India and Russia have a good relationship, and had Modi’s plane been brought down, it could have made Indians permanently resent Russia. Good and neutral investigators should not rule out any possibility and all data should be taken into consideration in an objective manner before arriving at any conclusion about the perpetrators of the crime which resulted in the tragic loss of the lives of hundreds of innocent people.

A RARE INSIGHT INTO ONE BRILLIANT - Dr Nagendra Rao - MIND TO A LUMINARY -Sri Arumugaswami
Sri Arumugaswami
Managing Editor
Hinduism Today
Hawaii

Dear Sri Armugaswami:

HPI

KAUAI, HAWAII, July 22, 2014: A reader has pointed out that millet does not have a low glycemic index number as claimed in the July 21 news item, "Millets: The Nutrient Rich Counterparts Of Wheat And Rice," (even though coming from a government of India press release).

Generally anything over 70 is considered high glycemic. Ragi, a common form of red millet in India is 86
( www.indiacurry.com ).
Bajra, or millet, is given here
( www.bloodindex.org ) as 82. Other sites give similar numbers.

I saw the quick response and correction from your journalistic team on the error above in a Government of India official publication –”MILLETS: The nutrient rich counterparts of wheat and rice” - that you had highlighted.

Kudos to you. Your reputation as perhaps the most respected global publication on Hinduism related affairs is well merited. Keep up the good work.

I am going to circulate this to my mailing list.

I wish that other Hinduism nee Sanatana Dharma publications had similar high standards of professionalism and journalistic integrity. Sadly in most cases they don’t. The publications of even the most respectable Hindu movements of today are often riddled with poor editing and gross errors of translations from the vernacular. Their English is characterized by spelling mistakes, poor grammar and often unacceptably bad production values.

Every day I come across shockingly poorly edited and badly produced material on Hinduism. This even from some of India’s so-called leading gurus / holy men / globe trotting itinerant Hindu swamis and what have you.

To cite one glaring example. A website of a Hindu guru whom I would rather not name claims in pristine Hindi that he has all his 7 Kundalinis awakened. Two years ago this same guru had posters all over the map IN ENGLISH that he had all his 7 Kundalinis awakened. I had written to some of his organizers that this statement is ridiculous and contrary to all the canonical texts on tantra and the yoga sastras. Even two years after the fact, there has been no move to correct glaring errors in the publicity material of this guru.

This kind of professional laxness leads to wholesale ridiculing of Hinduism nee Sanatana Dharma among people who really know. It damages the credibility of Hinduism everywhere when Sanatana Dharma is increasingly under attack by the Semitic religions – in particular Christianity and Islam.

It also seriously calls into question the attainment of a so-called guru of the highest realization who allows such publicity material in his name to circulate uncorrected two years after the fact. Especially one who claims he is an IIT graduate and a doctorate as well. (He is persona non grata in some major Canadian cities now I am told. The grapevine says his IIT graduation could not be verified, but that is more hearsay).

This same guru purportedly of the highest realization held a rah rah function in New Jersey this Guru Purnima. For weeks there had been high profile advertising (and advertorials which were never explicitly noted as such) in all major NRI newspapers of the US. More than 3,000 thousands seekers mostly naïve attended. The tom tomming at this function being that this guru has all his seven chakras awakened – some improvement in the publicity material. No claim that all his 7 kundalinis were awakened though this claim continues on his website. J In the mould of a Messiah having arisen he thundered that he has come to save us all, using the spiritual powers accumulated during 40 years of tapas.

Ye are very broadly and well read. But ye might want to read Zen: Dawn in the West by Roshi Dr. Philip Kapleau (PhD from Columbia and recently deceased in his 80s). Ye might find it worth your time.

For my fellow travelers and seekers, in the chapter “How Do You Find Your Teacher”, Roshi Kapleau says:

Shun any teacher who says, “I am enlightened”. Beware of any guru who claims to be an avatar, an incarnation of a god or Buddha. Above all, avoid the “master” who allows his followers to shout his praises with arms upraised at mass rallies, and to laud him as the holiest of holies. He is the greatest of menace.

How does a genuine master react to praise? When the Buddha’s attendant Ananda told him one time, “Methinks that in the past there has never been a master as great as the World-honoured One, nor will there be one as great in the future,” the Buddha replied, “Have you known all the Buddhas of the past?”

“No, World-honoured One”.
“Well, have you the power to know all the Buddhas of the future?”
“No, World-honoured One”.
“Then surely, Ananda, you thoroughly know the Tathagata’s mind?”
“No, World-honoured One, not even that”.
“How, then,” asked the Buddha, “can you speak so boldly?”

One may also cite the modest Swami Vivekananda who was a true world luminary. In the year of the bi-centennial the Smithsonian Institute acknowledged Vivekananda to be one of the 20 most influential foreigners on US religious and socio-cultural thought:

In the first place, there is no mystery in what I teach. What little I know I will tell you. So far as I can reason it out I will do so, but as to what I do not know I will simply tell you what the books say. It is wrong to believe blindly. You must exercise your own reason and judgment; you must practice, and see whether these things happen or not. Just as you would take up any other science, exactly in the same manner you should take up this science for study.

RAJA YOGA, CHAPTER 1, INTRODUCTORY

In all the years that I have known of Kauai Aadheenam and your publication Hinduism Today I have seen that you have striven to maintain the highest standards of rectitude and professionalism. You have gone overboard once or twice, c.f. when your august founder decried the Bhagavad Gita as not a genuine Hindu religious tract since it advocates violence. Ye joined the execrable Dr. Wendy Doniger of the University of Chicago on that. And of course there is rubbish you have published on Gandhi following the eulogistic herd. Well no one, not even your Gurudeva is perfect. But these are comparatively minor failings. “To err is human, to forgive divine” and all that.

I am not sure that Hinduism Today / you can do anything about the shady practices of the Indian gurus who now seem to infest the US every summer. Several of them are no better than the televangelists Jimmy Swaggart or Billy Joe Hargis. Some of them arguably worse.

Perhaps a guarded, circumspect editorial decrying unethical publicity practices of the ethnic Indian newsmedia in the US and the ersatz gurus they promote.

Keep up the good work. Vaya con Dios!

Bangladesh the Newest Addition to
China’s ‘String of Pearls’?

Amitava Mukherjee

Is

There has been a subtle shift in Narendra Modi’s attitude towards Bangladesh. Although in his pre-election rallies Modi had threatened to drive out the Bangladeshi infiltrators, his foreign minister Sushma Swaraj hardly mentioned the topic during her recently concluded visit to Bangladesh. The reason is very simple. China is now spreading its influence in Bangladesh very fast and India does not want to lose the confidence of Hasina Wazaed, the prime minister of Bangladesh, who is always looked upon in New Delhi as a traditional ally.

Yet there are reasons for India to be apprehensive about Dhaka’s future course of action. Mandarins in India’s ministry of external affairs confirm that Hasina Wazed’s visit to China in June this year has raised many eyebrows among Indian policy makers. Hasina not only signed a number of agreements with China – some of them being militarily uncomfortable for India – but the tenor of her speech during meetings with Chinese political bigwigs as well as her official press briefing after coming back to Dhaka also raised skepticism. To her, Sino-Bangladesh relations are not only a matter of a closer comprehensive relationship of cooperation, but a dynamic process which has metamorphosed from the stage of economic partnership into the realm of strategic partnership.

But rather than establishing an independent identity for Bangladesh in South Asian politics, this fundamental change in perception – away from an India-centric foreign and internal policy long cherished by Hasina Wazed’s party, the Awami League – is likely to entangle Dhaka in the vortex of troubled South Asian waters. Hasina’s grudge with New Delhi lies in the fact that the previous Manmohan Singh-led UPA government failed to deliver to Bangladesh the quantum of waters from the river Teesta. There are some other minor issues like the settling of the land boundary between the two countries, which has been stalled due to opposition from several state governments and regional parties of India. But the Teesta issue has been rankling in the minds of the prime minister of Bangladesh and her talk of strategic partnership with China assumes significance in this context.

It is true that Hasina Wazed has reason to be dissatisfied with India. She cooperated with New Delhi so far as tackling the insurgency in northeastern India, handed over to India several dreaded terrorists who had taken shelter in Bangladesh and expected, in return, that India would accede to her request of enhanced water flow from the river Teesta. That India could not live up to Bangladesh’s expectation was entirely due to the folly of India’s former National Security Adviser Shiv Shankar Menon, who failed to convince Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, an Indian state through which the river Teesta passes before entering Bangladesh.

Clearly Hasina Wazed is now trying to capitalize on the geopolitical advantage that Bangladesh enjoys as a country which overlooks the strategically important sea lanes of the Indian Ocean linking China with the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, thus playing a role in securing energy supplies for Beijing. In her first press conference in Dhaka after returning from China, Hasina Wazed said that she is prepared to forget the past in the interest of economic benefits for her country, a clear allusion to China’s hostile attitude during Bangladesh’s liberation war in 1971 and her willingness to forge closer ties with China.

But for Bangladesh, doing business with China will have its own connotations. As strategic experts believe, Beijing has its own theory of ‘string of pearls,’ meaning bases by which China can encircle India in South Asian politics. It has already targeted Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, and if Hasina is now prepared to forget everything in the past then China would have another very important addition to its kitty. Among all the Chinese footprints in Bangladesh, the most contentious ones are the Chittagong port and the proposal to build a deep-sea port in the Sonadia Island off Cox Bazar. Chiittagong port is now being developed and modernized with Chinese investment and help. Although detailed agreement over this project has been kept under wraps, it is widely believed that China will retain the right to use this port according to its plans and needs. Strategically more important will be the deep-sea port at Sonadia which will also come up in a similar manner i.e. with Chinese investment and direct participation. It will provide China with an excellent base to monitor and control situations in the shipping lanes of the Indian Ocean. In addition to the Gwadar port in Pakistan, control over these two ports in Bangladesh will not only be very important feathers in China’s ‘string of pearls’ cap, they will also greatly reduce the distance of sea connections for China’s remote western and northwestern parts. While the distance from Kunming (China) to Chittagong is 1000 kilometers, the distance between the former and Guangzhou, the nearest sea port in China, is 1700 kilometers.

Bangladesh has plans to build up an air force base in the Sonadia Island. It’s a bit baffling. Engaging India in an air duel is out of question for Bangladesh. It had a long standing maritime dispute with Burma, but this dispute as well as the Rohingya influx from Burma to Bangladesh never took such a proportion so as to merit military confrontations between the two countries. Moreover, with the pronouncement of a judgment from an international tribunal on Indo-Bangladesh maritime relations having a bearing on Burma too, the maritime dispute is now on its way to a solution. Then why has Bangladesh been contemplating the construction of this air base? Is it for giving China a back-up support?

Beneath the apparent camaraderie between New Delhi and Dhaka, an air of mistrust is there. Even Hasina Wazed has now drifted far away from his father Sheikh Mjibur Rahaman’s policy of total reliance on India. In her last visit to Beijing she has signed an agreement by which China would not only support the Bangladesh military but would provide training facilities for army personnel. For the last five years China has been the largest arms supplier to Bangladesh. Beijing now exports arms to nearly 35 countries and of them Bangladesh is the second-biggest importer.

Silent moves are now taking place here to redraw the strategic balance. Immediately after coming back from Beijing in June, Hasina Wazed declared that the Bangladesh navy would get two Chinese submarines by 2015 and the Chinese ambassador in Dhaka averred that these submarines would help Bangladesh in bringing stability in the region. Dhaka would spend $203 million to purchase these two boats. In March this year, Bangladesh has commissioned two new Chinese frigates and between 2008 and 2012 it bought anti-ship missiles, tanks, and fighter aircraft from China.

Bangladesh’s silent acquisition of arms has surprised the Indian government. In recent times it has acquired helicopters from France, aircraft from Germany, light helicopters from Italy, and armored personnel carriers from Russia. Its navy has recently test-fired automated missiles. It is a fact that in the international arms market, Chinese arms are a bit cheaper. Moreover, as Beijing is in possession of a very big hard currency reserve it can provide credit and soft loans. In 2012 alone, Bangladesh purchased $350 million worth of Chinese arms.

India’s response is marked with caution. It has expressed doubts about the necessity of Bangladesh signing so many pacts with China. But militarily speaking, India has also been keeping its powder dry. It has already decided to build a deep sea port at Sagar Island, on the mouth of the Bay of Bengal and quite near to not only the coastline of Bangladesh but its mainland too. There are plans to set up a missile base on the island wherefrom land-to-ship and surface-to-air missiles could be launched.

There are reasons for India to be uncomfortable with the fact that while Chinese weaponry accounts for 54 percent of total Pakistani arms purchases, the corresponding figure for Bangladesh is 82 percent. Russia recently edged out China in matters of partnership in the construction of Bangladesh’s first nuclear power plant at Rooppur in the Pabna district. But long before that, in 2005 China roped in Bangladesh in the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization along with Pakistan, Iran, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, etc. Beijing is now Dhaka’s largest trade partner. On the other hand, Bangladesh is China’s third-largest trade partner in South Asia.

Some Indian strategic experts have ascribed Bangladesh’s pro-China tilt to India’s failure to deliver Teesta waters. But it has to be noted that Bangladesh started entering into more and more agreements with China since 2010, before the Teesta controversy cropped up. They include Chinese financial help to Bangladesh’s first space satellite program, a highway connecting Bangladesh with Kunming in China through Burma, and a 128-kilometer railway line to connect Gundum, a border town of Bangladesh, first with the Burmese, and then with the Chinese systems.

In her latest tour to China, Hasina Wazed gave a boost to the growing Beijing-Dhaka nexus. The agreements signed during her visit cover infrastructure, roads, railways, a coal-based power plant at Patuakhali, and a Chinese economic and investment zone in Chittagong. But strategically, the most important agreement has been in regard to construction of a dual gauge railway line from Chittagong to Cox Bazar wherefrom the proposed deep sea port at Sonadia will not be far away.

Congress Party has destroyed
Indian unity & cultivated seeds for disintegration?

S.Karmakar

At the end of 2nd World War British finally decided to split India into two parts, one for Muslims and other one for Hindus. But the prelude for partition of Indian began in 1905 with partition of Bengal which is also known as Bangabhanga. Later Congress president Nehru concentrated more to become first prime minister of India and gave less importance to India or its unity. The most significant social movement called RAKHI BANDHAN against partition of Bengal was launched by Tagore and other cultural activists.

Nehru led Congress Party succumbed to British/Jinnah conspiracy plan of partition in 1947 for further trouble in the region. Gandhi as mentor & spiritual leader tried to influence Congress Party from outside against partition, but that was unsuccessful against Nehru conspiracy/diplomacy plan. Nehru even didn’t show any sincerity in completing partition proposal with transfer of population. If partition becomes legitimate than why there should be any Muslims in India and Hindus in Pakistan/ Bangladesh?

Kashmir and Bangladesh is bleeding to-day due to Nehru/Congress blunder policy? Bangladesh Hindus are the most victim of 1947 partition; they have no social respect in the society or in the administration. Bangladesh Hindus are at the mercy of their neighbor Muslims? During parliament election they receive threat and humiliation both from their neighbor Muslim community. Rape of Hindu minority girls is very common to-day in Bangladesh and falls under the rights and privileges’ of its majority neighbor. Hindus has no place to go and there are no visible international support for their rights, with all these disparity Bangladesh government considers them the most moderate Muslim country of the planet?

Bangladesh is moderate in compare to Pakistan, Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia? But unliveable for Hindus, there are no human dignity left for them: MALAUN: KAFIR: are the most common slangs used against them in Bangladesh. A friend of mine who has fought liberation war as military officer and holds a very important post in the government also addresses me as MALAUN . Hard Truth. Partition by Nehru Congress have made Hindus as slaves in Bangladesh? Hindus are no better than middle age slaves in Bangladesh 30% Hindus of 1947 has dwindled to 9% now. Will international community save them from extinction?

Sonia led Indian government has appointed a Muslim visa consular in Dhaka, who refuses visa to the Hindus and issues more visa to the Muslims? Does BJP government know it or still go unnoticed? More visas to the Muslims would create more opportunity for JIHADHIST to enter India from Bangladesh. Precaution is better than cure.

The Khaleda Zia Government in 2001 ,immediately upon their election victory in Oct 1 2001 , unleashed a reign of terror and cleansing upon the Hindus which continued unabated till 2006 . That same tradition off and on still goes on. The whole world takes a strong position if there is a retaliation by Israel on Gaza rocket throwers , but no one even in India show any concern when the Muslims merrily kill Hindus in Bangladesh. Will the newsmen of India take notice , only which can awake the Muslim appeasers in India and the world .

The Fraud of the Sachar Report Exposed

India Tomorrow, Sunday, 15 June 2014, Last Updated on Friday, 04 July 2014 12:15

Written by Ram Kumar Ohri, IPS, (Retd.)

In a country teeming with the poor and the indigent there could be no justification for appointing a Committee exclusively to look into the socio-economic and educational backwardness of one single community, namely the Muslims, who in terms of many human development indicators are better placed than the Hindus. In accordance with the Notification dated March 9, 2005, the Sachar Committee had invited representations from all interested groups by issuingadvertisements in newspapers. The Committee was further required to conduct "an intensive literature survey to identify the published data, articles and research on relative social, economic and educational status of Muslims in India", as reiterated in para 2 (a) of the aforesaid notification. Sachar Committee, however, failed on both counts. It took no notice of the detailed factspacked Memorandum submitted by our Forum on 18th May 2006 (after the original one was lost in Committee's office) and despite a written assurance given to our Forum vide their letter datedOct. 5, 2005, did not consider our Memorandum. Six reminders sent by us were never replied to.The Committee did not take into account many important documents, especially the 2 off-beat seminar papers read on Sept 2, 2006, by S/Shri R.K. Ohri and Prof. Sanjay Kumar (Fellow of Centre for Study of Developing Societies) in a Seminar held in the prestigious Indian Institute of PublicAdministration which highlighted the fact that the Muslim community was not disadvantaged at all vis a vis Hindus. The findings of two well-researched seminar papers established that actually the proportion of 'very poor' people was higher among Hindus than among Muslims. This fact has been confirmed now by the latest survey conducted by NSS which showed that the poorest 10 percent population of India lives in rural areas on a pittance of Rs 9/- per day. On pro rata basis it would mean that 74 percent of these les miserables happen to be Hindus. The proportion of the poorest in Hindu community comes to 13.6 percent, while among Muslims it is 10.5. The following important facts, duly supported by statistical data and critical analysis (including the sources of inputs) have been ignored by Sachar Committee :

1. The incidence of infant and child mortality per 1000 births is substantially higher among Hindus than among Muslims, the overall differential being 29 to 30 percent. It is a universally recognized fact that higher incidence of infant and child mortality is a direct consequence of poor nutritional intake resulting from acute poverty. In addition, between 1991-1999 there was a steep increase in this differential in the Infant and Child Mortality of the two communities (as pointed out in our ignored Memorandum) which indicated a sharp decline in the economic status of Hindus. The following data compiled by S. Irudaya Rajan gives the overall picture of incidence of Infant and Child mortality for the Hindus and Muslims of India:

Estimates of Infant and Child Mortality for Hindus and Muslims
Source Infant Mortality Child Mortality
Hindus Muslims Hindus Muslims
Census 1991 74 68 97 91
NFHS-I (1992-93) 90 77 124 106
NFHS-2 (1998-99) 77 59 107 83
Source: S. Irudaya Rajan, District Fertility Estimates for Hindus and Muslims, Economic and Political Weekly, January 29, 2005, p.440.

Note 1: NFHS stands for National Family Health Survey. Two such surveys have been held in the past, one in 1992-93 and another in 1998-99. The third survey has completed recently. But its final results are yet to be released.

Note 2: The term Infant Mortality relates to death of children below one year age per 1000 births, while Child Mortality relates to death of children below 5 years, but above the age of 1 year per 1000 births. A mere glance at the above data shows that in 1998-99 for the country as a whole there were 77 cases of Infant Mortality (per 1000) among Hindus as against only 59 such cases among Muslims thereby revealing more than 30 percent higher incidence of Infant Mortality among Hindus vis a vis Muslims. As regards the incidence of Child Mortality, according to NFHS -2 , there were 107 cases of child mortality per 1000 births amongst Hindus compared to a meagre 83 such cases

among the Muslims. In other words, the incidence of child mortality, too, is nearly 29 percent higher among Hindus as compared to Muslims. It is simple common sense and a universally recognized principle that higher incidence of infant and child mortality is a direct consequence of poor nutritional intake resulting from acute poverty. This in terms of these 2 important human development indicators the Hindus are definitely worse off than the Muslims.

2. Our Memorandum further highlighted through proper analysis that the manifest difference in incidence of child mortality between the Hindus and the Muslims further widened between 1991 and 1999 because of a sharp decline in incomes in the agricultural sector resulting in further deterioration in the economic condition of Hindus. During the last two decades there has been a massive decline in productivity in the agricultural sector where GDP growth remained very low - far below the high growth recorded in the urban sector. In recent years more than 15,000 suicides by impoverished peasantry (now the number has exceeded 25,000) most of whom were Hindus. The rightful claim of farmers and rural poor for "affirmative action" to ameliorate their lot has been denied by the government because they happen to be too poor and disorganized to act as a solid "vote bank" and have not learnt the devious art of practising "grievance politics".

3. Degree of urbanization, or the relative proportion of a community's population living in urban areas is the third important globally accepted human development indicator. According to Census 2001 as many as 74 percent Hindus live in rural areas whereas the proportion of Muslims living in rural areas was only 64 percent. Thus barely 26 percent Hindus are urbanized, while the percentage of urbanized Muslims is much higher at 36 percent. According to this human development indicator, too, Muslim community is far ahead of Hindus. The following table shows the degree of urbanization among members of the two communities, as per Census 2001: Community Total Population Numbers Living in Urban Areas.

Percentage Living in Urban Areas
Hindus 82,75,78,868 21,63,15,573 26%
Muslims 13,81,88,240 4,93,93,496 36%
Source: Census 2001, Religion Data Report.

4. The average life expectancy at birth is yet another globally recognized indicator of socioeconomic status of a community. As calculated by two well-known professional demographers, P.N.Mari Bhat and A.J. Francis Zavier in their research study published in Economic & Political Weekly, January 29, 2005 (page 390), the average life expectancy at birth for Muslims was 1.2 years higher than the Hindus - the respective averages being 62.6 years for the Muslims as against 61.4 years for the Hindus.

5. There is not much difference in the literacy average of the two communities, the average.
literacy among Hindus being 65.1 percent (barely 0.3 percent higher than the national average of64.8), as against 59.1 percent among Muslims. There were substantial variations in the percentageof literacy from State to State, as revealed by Census 2001. According to Statement 8 of Census 2001 (Religion Data Report) there are at least 13 States and Union Territories, including several big states like Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and Gujarat where the Muslims are ahead of the Hindus in the matter of literacy. Even female literacy among Muslims is higher than among Hindus in 13 States and U.Ts, namely Orissa, Chhatisgarh, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Pondicherry, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Andamans & Nicobar Islands. Interestingly in Andhra Pradesh, a State notoriously hellbent on providing 5 percent reservations to Muslims, thepercentage of literacy among Muslims is higher than the Hindus to the extent of 7 percent, while in the matter of female literacy the Muslims have an advantage of 10 percent over Hindu women.

6. According to NSS surveys the per capita income of Muslims is lower than that of Hindus.

But there were two critical differences between the economic parameters of the two communities. One crucial factor is the comparatively larger size of Muslim households when compared to Hindus which increased the dependency burden on the breadwinner. On an average every Muslim family has one additional member to feed than the comparable Hindu household due to poor acceptance of small family norm. According to National Family Health Survey -2, on an average every Muslim woman is giving birth to 1.1 more child than her Hindu counterpart. The second important reason is the abysmally low work participation of Muslim women which was nearly 50 percent lower than the Hindus, the respective percentages according to Census 2001 being 14.1 percent for Muslim women as against 27.5 for Hindu women. The reason for this poor work participation was the obscurantist custom of veil and the Shariah-dictated taboo forbidding women to go out for work. The Committee, despite harping repetitively on its pet theme of Muslim poverty, dare not delve deep into the true reasons for this globally prevalent malaise, namely the high birth rate and poor female work participation, as established by our research. The intention obviously is to hide from the gullible public the knowledge about the politically inconvenient truth of abnormally high birth rate and poor female work participation in Muslim community.

A simple real life example, based on NSS data, will highlight the precise nature of the

problem. Let us assume that in one locality 2 families are living: one Hindu and another Muslim. The Hindu family, Mr and Mrs Menon, have 2 children and both husband and wife (Mr and Mrs Menon), are working so that the dependency burden on breadwinners comes to 1:1 (i.e, 2 earning hands and 2 dependant children). Alongside there is a Muslim family, Mr and Mrs Abdul, who have 3 children, but only Mr. Abdul works so that the dependency on one breadwinner comes to 1:5 because one single earning member (ie., Mr. Abdul) has to look after 3 children and wife. Now Abdul and his family are angry that they don't have the same economic status as Mr. and Mrs. Menon. And there are many Abduls who clamour for having equal economic status without agreeing to reduce the size of their families and without allowing their wives to go out to work. Please elucidate is it really possible and if so how? What Sachar Committee is trying to do is simple bluster. The Committee's recipe is that to improve the economic conditions of all Abduls, government should provide reservations and monetary doles to Abduls and their families. But Sachar Committee won"t advise them to opt for small family norm, they don't tell Abduls to allow their womenfolk to come out of Burka and go out for work because Muslim clerics don't approve of it. Please put your hand on your heart and speak out boldly whether it is ethical and appropriate to recommend and propagate the obfuscatory remedies like reservations and preferential financial doles to Abduls who don't accept small family norm and emancipation of women?

7. The scriptural disapproval of women going out to work has 3 adverse side-effects. First, it results in lower household earnings causing lower per capita income. Second, it pulls down the percentage of overall employment in the community because the average of employment is the statistical average of the total work participation by both the men and the women in a community. Third, it tends to show a higher level of unemployment in the community due to large number of non-working women. Rationally speaking, due to adverse impact of these factors the statistical data of unemployment and lower per capita income of Muslims cannot be compared with similar indices pertaining to Hindus, Christians and other communities whose womenfolk don't suffer from religious disabilities restricting female education, or curbs on women empowerment and work participation.

8. The Hindu society has a thick creamy layer, mostly city-based, whose huge income gets distributed over the vast Hindu population, mostly poor, spread out in rural areas thereby giving an impression that as a community the Hindus are more prosperous than the Muslims. Attention was drawn to the fact that out of 311 Rupee billionaires in the country nearly 300 happen to be Hindus, though the richest billionaire happens to be a forward-looking Muslim entrepreneur, Azim Premji.

9. The socio-economic backwardness of the Muslim community is not an India specific problem. It is a global phenomenon as pointed out by a bold Pakistan-based analyst, Dr. Farrukh Saleem. One major reason is rampant gender discrimination and regressive social practices imposed by powerful clerics and religious scholars. The social status of a community is a direct function of its socio-religious mores, especially the treatment meted out to women in the matter of gender equality and socio-economic emancipation. An important step towards modernizing the community would be to enact a common civil code which alone could empower the Muslim women.

10. The Committee did not want to face the politically unpalatable truth that in terms of four important human development indicators, namely Infant Mortality, Child Mortality, Urbanisation and Life Expectancy at Birth, the Hindus are more disadvantaged than the Muslims and that the real cause of social backwardness of the community, prevalent all over the world, lies in their abnormally high birth rate and regressive social system and stranglehold of obscurantist clergy. Astonishingly the well known facts about veil and gender discrimination voiced by the well-known film celebrity, Shabana Azmi and several others have been totally ignored by the Committee. A detailed study of the Report reveals that it has extensively fudged the facts and taken recourse to blatant obfuscation and suppressio veri, suggestio falsi, of which several instances have been cited in the Rejoinder issued by Patriots' Forum. In Chapter 4, while pleading the cause of Urdu for being considered as an elective subject in schools, the Committee trains its guns on the teaching of Sanskrit for reasons best known to its

members. Going off at a tangent, it find fault with the "importance attached to say, Sanskrit, which is offered in a majority of schools". It pontificates on page 83 that "the importance given to Sanskrit in the educational framework in Delhi and many north Indian States has tended to sideline minority languages. Students have to opt for the Sanskrit as there is no provision to teach Urdu (or say other regional languages) in many schools. This, in effect, makes Sanskrit a compulsory subject". God alone knows what has made the High Level Committee so hostile to the teaching of Sanskrit in schools. Sanskrit and Urdu are by no means comparable languages, nor are they mutually competitive. Sanskrit is the world's most ancient language and repository India's glorious heritage and sacred texts, while Urdu is a hybrid born out of the accident of history. We hope and pray that this irrelevant and grossly irreverent observation by Sachar Committee is not used as a subterfuge to substitute Urdu in the place of Sanskrit in schools. It may be recalled that recently the Minister for Minority Affairs has publicly announced that even observations of Sachar Committee will be taken up for implementation. A prominent streak of obfuscation, bias and intent to conceal the truth runs throughout the Report. The unwarranted diatribe against Sanskrit is one clear indication of the communal agenda of the Committee.

SEX PLEASURE ONLY FOR MALES -
GENITAL MUTILATION FOR WOMEN

These sick people, drunk with hatred and misogyny of Islamic scriptures, they destroy themselves and everyone else around. Genital Mutilation is very cruel practice and well known US activist Ayaan Hirsi speaks on this based on what she went through in Africa as a child. After Boko Haram abducted the young girls they crudely mutilated and some must have died in the process.

The whole hijab and covering up woman is so that she does not arouse sexual passions of a man and if she is raped she has to produce four witness!! Guess what are the most visited websites of Pakistanis (or perhaps all other Islamic states where they degenerate woman) are the pornographic websites. They disembowel their own women and seek women of other religions, to abduct, convert, to satisfy their desires. It amazes me Islamic women do not even speak up or dare to speak up. These perverted people and their religion need to be stopped if the world has any sense.

Opportunist Muslims who speak out for rights of Muslims at best give lip service to this as well as the atrocities on other religions being committed by radical Muslims encouraged by their 'holy books'. They are doing ethnic cleansing of Christians in Middle East, in Africa, until recently in Egypt, of Hindus in West Bengal border towns and of course Bangla Desh genocide. If Israel comes out any weak, these people will rape every Jewish woman and destroy everything they build, just the way pedophile terrorist did in 700 AD in Medina.

The perverted West and leftists has to stop using this this religion that has nothing but hate and perversion to propagate their interests, which will eventually lead to a major holocaust of all, Muslims and non-Muslims.

Hindu American representation at
Princeton rally in support of Israel

SATYA D

Dear All,

Below is speech I gave in a rally in support of Israel on Monday (July 21st) in Princeton, NJ area. There were about 500-600 people. I urge Hindu Americans in other areas to volunteer to come forward to stand up for Israel. It is greatly appreciated by the Jewish community. Among people on stage include Christian leaders, Jewish leaders (local, Isreal and student) and NJ State Senator Linda Greenstein. Each one was asked to speak for a minute. Rediff/India Abroad is writing a story on event.

"My name is Satya Dosapati, I represent Hindu Human Rights Watch and host of other Organizations including Human Rights Coalition Against Radical Islam which we founded with representatives from different religions, Hindus, Jewish, Christians, Sikhs and moderate Muslims. We have held several events in NY area together with Jewish community in New York. I appreciate Lawrencville Synagogue members and Michael Feldstein inviting us to speak at this event.

Hindus and Jews have a common bond. We are the oldest civilizations and we are throughout history targeted and persecuted. However, we have not chosen others as targets. I am proud to say that one of the first things Israel Parliament did when Israel was formed is to acknowledge that Hindus and India are the only people and country that never persecuted Jewish people. It is unfortunate that at this day and age we have people abiding to some book and target others based on religion. World need to come together and stop this madness. I was watching news last night and heard that 30,000 tons of concrete meant to be used for schools, hospitals was used to build tunnels by Hamas. On one side you see a country that is doing best to protect its people, doing what is needed for their people to thrive, on the other hand you see people spending energy destroying others as well as their own people. It is sad to see the images of deaths but Israel has a right to defend itself. What if the rockets made it to people of Israel? Should they allow this to continue? World leaders need to come together and bring this issue to a resolution. I sincerely pray and hope that Jewish people and Israel not only come out of this current situation, but for millenia and ages to thrive and prosper. Thank you."

Regards

" RELIGION OF PEACE " BULLDOZING SIKHS IN INDIA

The religion of peace is in action again in India, in UP, Saharanpur. Larger world has to come together to close down this religion and its worship places, but may be the beginning has to be made with leftists and apologists who give excuses or sugar coat it. Is there a day without these people rampaging around in the world in every corner?

16 August is a very important day in the history of India, of Bengal and particularly of Kolkata.

That was "Direct Action Day" in 1946 called by M A Jinnah of Muslim League.

The then C.M. of Bengal Suhrawardy observed this day as mass killing of the Hindus. The Statesman named it as "The Great Calcutta Killing".

5000 Hindus were killed in 3 days.

At that time, Sri Gopal Mukherjee aka Gopal Pantha saved Kolkata by his heroic effort with the help of his young courageous colleagues. They stemmed the onslaught from Muslims and Police's joint killing machine.

But Gandhi-Nehru chaperons and anti Hindu/anti national communist historians suppressed his glorious role just like they suppressed Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee's singular role to save West Bengal from the clutches of Muslim East Pakistan.

We Hindu Samhati observe this day, the 16 August as "Gopal Mukherjee Smaran Divas" every year.

Last year 1500 Hindu youths participated in the program held at Mahajati Sadan. The program was grand success. And it drew attention of international Hindu community. They wrote that we did a historical duty by recognising the saviours of Bengal, the Hindu heroes of that time.

Encouraged by response and success of last 2 year's program, this year too, we have decided to observe that day in a bigger way. It will be a LARGE PROCESSION of five thousand (5000) Hindu youths. On 16 August 2014 our procession will start from College Square (in front of Calcutta University) at 12.00 noon, and end at Esplanade.

Surely this program is a sinful act in the eyes of many seculars. One of those prominent seculars is our great West Bengal BJP.

They took upon themselves this sacred duty to disturb our 'communal' program.

They found a great opportunity also.

16 August is known for another unfortunate incident of Kolkata - on this day in the year of 1980, It reminds of the violence during a Mohun Bagan-East Bengal derby at the Eden Gardens on 16 August, 1980 in which 16 football fans were killed and scores injured, Fans started pelting stones and bricks into the field after Mohun Bagan’s star recruit Okolie Odafa was given marching orders by the referee. This was an unfortunate incident against referee's decision and has got nothing to do with nation , community or polity and had effected a particular spot of Maidan l footbal-fans only.

But local BJP by a parallel march is trying to belittle the havoc of 16 August 1946 which bisected Bengal , and forced millions of Hindus to flee own homeland and bleed, while still leaving tens of millions Hindus in Bangladesh to face persecution, rape and ethnic cleansing.

Read more at: www.livemint.com

In memory of this unfortunate day, the football fraternity of Kolkata observes "Football Lovers' Day" on the 16 August .

What can be more illustrious opportunity for secular BJP to observe this day in a perfect secular way to stop/disturb our 'communal sin'!

Hence, the Sports Cell of West Bengal BJP decided to observe this day 16 August as secular "Football Lovers' Day" in the form of a procession to be started from the same venue which we've decided. They applied to Kolkata Police in this regard although much later than our submission of application to Kolkata Police.

Police deptt. has informed me this.

Now the thing stands as "Secular Event" of BJP vs. "Communal Event" of Hindu Samhati on 16 August.

Celebrated American Historian Will Durant concluded in his Deep Mammoth Research Volumes of "History of Civilization" that people of India, Hindus, were subjected to the bloodiest carnage of savagery along with wholesale destruction of Hindu Shrines , in Lakhs, almost throughout last millennium ,unprecedented in the History of World.

Surprisingly, even after attaining Freedom sixty-seven years back, no individual, organization or authority made any effort to uphold and preserve the History of the Dark Millennium of India , in a befitting setting of a modern Museum.

AMAZING is the fact that a non-Hindu, non-Indian has shouldered the project as a tribute to the hundreds of million Hindus suffered and perished during those days. One young Frenchman Francois Gautier stumbled upon India and its treasure-house by his chance visit to Rishi Arabinda's Ashram , Pondicherry, got immersed in its wisdom and made pursuit of Indic history and Dharma his mission. Now, decades after, he is a rarity among western origin journalists , who reports Truth , as it is and takes the brief for India. Let us join our hands with him.

Please forward the attachments to your friends and extend your hands in co-operation.

It is for every one of us to make the Project a success - like the Holocaust Museum .

It is needed - same history recurred in 1946 & 1947 , even afterwards - indeed the Museum will be a reminder to past - a caution for future .

WHY A NON-INDIAN, NON-HINDU IS BUILDING THE SHIVAJI MAHARAJ MUSEUM OF INDIAN HISTORY

I covered Kashmir as a journalist for the Figaro, the largest French political daily in the worst of its unrest, from the late eighties till the Kargil war. It is there without any doubt that I went through some of the most dangerous incidents of my life – and where I acquired, I think, a little bit of fearlessness, which has helped me till today. There was only one hotel opened for journalists during the unrest, it was called Adhoos and it was on the banks of the river Jhelum. There was curfew most of the time and nobody could go out without a pass, but at night I would step out of the hotel and walk on the bund that stops the river Jhelum from overflowing into Srinagar. One could hear gunfire and sometimes-even grenades in the distance, yet I could feel the presence of the millions of saints, yogis, avatars and simple people who had prayed and meditated for thousands of years in Kashmir. It seems today like an abstract experience, but on the spot, it was so strong and vivid and I felt that this was the very reason that India should keep Kashmir, for its sacredness and the Mother’s presence in spite of all the strife.

I came to Pune 7 years ago for an Art of Living course. I knew of course about Shivaji Maharaj, having researched him for my books and becoming a long standing admirer of him. I had some time after the course and I asked my driver to take me to the main Museum, which is called Kelkar. I was surprised and shocked to find that there was not a single exhibit on Shivaji and that in the city of his birth, there was no Museum worth the name honoring him. Great men and women who walk this earth and are instruments of God, do most of their work while in their physical body. But when they die, I believe they leave something behind, a presence, a will, an influence. This day I felt that I should do something to honor Shivaji Maharaj who was so devoted to his country, which he worshipped as the Mother and the idea of a Museum of true Indian History, dedicated to Shivaji Maharaj, started taking shape in my mind. Pune is the ideal place for this Museum: it’s Shivaji Maharaj’s realm, it is central to India and easily accessible from the South or the North and more than anything, Marathas have a stronger national fiber than in other states and I felt the Museum will be better protected here.

Yet, having spent the first 18 years of my life France, I still believe in logic and understanding with the mind. What is then the purpose of the Shivaji Maharaj shrine, which was built in the first phase, along with 7 exhibitions halls? Firstly, this is a place of knowledge. People can come to the temple, meditate, pray to Mother India or do a puja and come down a bit from their heads to their hearts. Then, they can learn something about the history of their country in the three exhibition halls, while the main Museum comes-up. Programs can also happen in our small amphitheater: films made by our foundation FACT can be screened, plays, satsangs can happen, art of living courses. Some of the Pune youth can come out feeling a little prouder of being Indian, a little more knowledgeable about the history of this great civilization that is India. It is a tragedy that the Indian education system produces so many brilliant youth, who are just good for export, as they are not made to learn about their own history, poets, avatars, legends.

This is a difficult project. Whoever has never attempted to raise money for a Museum should give it a try. I have met hundreds of potential donors, but when you say “ I need funds to build a Museum of Indian History, as it happened, not as it has been written”, you can see the mind of your interlocutor doing click and then pat comes the answer: “oh I have to speak to my board, oh, we only give to for health or education projects”, full stop. There must be a reason why there is no Museum of Shivaji Maharaj worth the name in Pune, for at every step we encountered problems, some foreseen, some unforeseen, some even coming from our own people. Trying to portray Indian History as it happened, not as it has been written, is a very sensitive task that leaves one exposed to all kind of troubles. Yet, Shivaji was an extraordinary being, an instrument of god and whoever binds him to a particular caste, or even a particular guru, demeans him and hampers his work, for he was a supra national figure and his qualities of dedication to Mother India, of extreme courage, of respect of human rights and honest administration, are badly needed in today’s India.

This is just a humble beginning: we have already started the foundations of the main Museum which will house exhibitions from the Vedas to the India of tomorrow. If God, in spite of my shortcomings, gives me the strength, the enthusiasm and the dynamism, it will be a wonderful and noble project that will be talked about for centuries. But for that, we need funds, a lot of funds. I hope those of you who will read these words, will be touched and will pass along the message to their friends.

Dear friends,

As you may know, I was a journalist and a reporter for many years in South Asia (francoisgautier.com), notably for Le Figaro, France’s largest circ. daily and I felt that this was not enough. Hence I started writing books about India, such as "A New History of India" (Har Anand, New Delhi). This particular book attempts to rewrite Indian History as it happened - and not as it has been written by western historians & later adopted blindly by Indian historians. There is no doubt, for instance, that the Aryan Invasion theory, which is the foundation stone of all History books on India, western and Indian -never happened. All recent archeological, linguistic and even spatial discoveries, point in that direction. There is no doubt also that the genocide of Hindus at the hands of invaders for 1200 years has been swept under the carpet by historians (for good and bad reasons. Hence I attempted to set the record straight, however politically incorrect its is.

But I felt that writing books was not enough. Hence, when I got an award of journalism at the hands of the PM in the Lok Sabha (Natchiketa Award of Excellence in Journalism, 2004), I used the funds to start a foundation, FACT (Foundation Against Continuing Terrorism) & mounted an exhibition on the genocide & exodus of Hindus in Kashmir, which I witnessed firsthand, being a reporter for Le Figaro at that time: http://refugees-in-their-own-country.blogspot.in/. We showed this exhibition to the US Congress in Washington in 2008.

Then I mounted another exhibition on the plight of minorities in Bangladesh, having also been there often:http://portrait-of-covert-genocide.blogspot.in/

Later, because in the process of researching for my books, I had seen how much Aurangzeb is portrayed as a stern but just ruler, we got hold of his firmans, which are still preserved in the Bikaner archives, hired a retired professor of history, V.S. Bhatnagar of the Rajasthan university, to translate them, engaged miniature painters in Jaipur and mounted a remarkable exhibition on Aurangzeb, as he was ACCORDING TO HIS OWN RECORDS:http://www.aurangzeb.info/

And then and then, kept making exhibitions, till we have fifteen today, including one on Sikhism: http://defenders-of-dharma.blogspot.in/ Or one on Hindu genocide, which we called “HINDU TOLERANCE THROUGHOUT THE AGES:http://hindu-tolerance.blogspot.in/ But this was not enough, I felt. Thus, 2 years ago, I started building a Museum of (TRUE) Indian history on 5 acres of land donated to FACT by HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. We have inaugurated the first phase one year ago. See the film at:http://www.youtube.com/user/FACTindia/feed

And the second phase last July end: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-E6wNiPK4GTMFJBMHAyUnllN00/edit?pli=1

We built a small shrine dedicated to Mata Bhavani and Shivaji Maharaj at entrance of Museum (photo) and opened a beautiful permanent exhibition on the great Shivaji Maharaj, whom we elevated as a national Hero for the whole of India and a Vibhuti: http://hero-for-modern-india.blogspot.in/

We then built a hall to put-up permanently our Aurangzeb exhibition. Photos: http://factmuseum.blogspot.in/

We have also built a video room where FACT’s films, such as “Brahmins have become the Dalits of India:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7Xgc4ljHKM , Or a film on the testimonies of survivors of the terror attacks in Mumbai of 26/11: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McjeQAUxz9Y can be screened

& we have just inaugurated with HH the Dalai Lama and Shri Uddhav Thackeray a fourth building, which houses a remarkable exhibition on the genocide of Tibetans at the hands of Chinese.

The Museum, whose address is: Ahead of Marathwada Institute. Vadgaon Shinde road. Wadgaon. Pune 40, is OPEN every day from 9am to 6pm and entrance is FREE. Please tell your friends about it. we have daily aarti in the temple in the morning at 9.30am This is a noble, but VERY difficult project, for many reasons. One, there is no tradition of private museums in Indian as there is in the West. Two, as soon as you touch at Indian history, it becomes very sensitive and tricky; and three, most philanthropists in India donate to education and health care, but recoil as soon as you mention the subject of Indian History.

But this is a Museum for ALL Indians, particularly dedicated to the Knowledge that stands behind Hinduism & which is the foundation of Indian culture and spirituality. My wife is preparing with Dr Kireet Joshi a series of exhibitions on the Vedas, which will be the foundation of our Museum. This is extremely important: the Vedas (& the Upanishads) are being forgotten today and soon the Vedas will only be known though the rituals.

This is why I need YOUR help. I am building this Museum on a shoestring budget and bills keep pouring in, while donations are very scant.

FACT is a registered Trust with Indian & UK, US tax exemption. If you would like to help, you could make a donation to: FACT, Account No: 04071450000237, IFCS code: HDFC0000407. We will mail you back your tax exemption certificate and we will honor all our donors.

Or you could donate via FACT USA

Kataria ji has been working hard for Hindus and India for more than 2 decades and he is really an unsung hero. I remember in 2007 when I first met him at an OFBJP meeting and felt his warmth right away. What touches me is how he treats everyone with respect and regard, even when he was attacked unfairly.

He is truly an inspiration to many activists including me.

Respected Colleagues:
I am enclosing herewith 3 page article written by Adv. Surendra Nathan entitled “Indian American Intellectuals Forum: The unsung heroes behind NaMao’s victory”, in Hindu Voice E-Bulletin, for your information. Here is one of the paragraph from the main article:

“In conclusion, I would say that the credit for the spectacular success of Narendra Modi should largely go to these unsung heroes of USA who came together under the umbrella of Indian American Intellectuals Forum held by a dynamic Indian, called “Narain Kataria”. My hats off to him. He was able to awaken the sleeping Hindus of India and was instrumental to give a befitting reply to the characters like Mani Shankar Aiyar ….”

Mr. Nathan has effusively showered praise on us. We express our gratefulness to him. We heartily commend his gracious and kind comments. However, the fact of the matter is that we were one of the thousands of groups who worked selflessly and tirelessly to ensure that Narendra Modi assumes the mantle of the Prime Minister of India.

THREE ISRAELI BOYS KILLED BY ARABS - SILENT ARABS & 56 ISLAMIC NATIONS & WORLD ONE ARAB KILLED BY ISRAELI - THE WORLD GETS TOPS TURVY

CAPT.S . KARMAKAR (RETD)

Three teen Israeli boys’ was abducted and killed by the Palestine militant group Hamas nearly a month ago. In retaliation Israeli militant group also abducted and killed a Palestine boy. After the second abduction and killing of a Palestine boy Arab states gave their first reaction. The first unprovoked killing was sponsored from Gaza by Hamas in the holy Muslim month of Ramadan who claimed to be the followers of so-called peace religion. Hamas choose month of Ramadan ideal for killing of infidels to energize the holy war, the incident was first of its kind in nearly one year. In last one year there was no real tension between these two rival groups.

No Arab state or OIC condemned the killing of Israeli boys, as usual remained mum but why started barking after killing of a Palestine boy? Peace is always bilateral and never one sided, if Arabs condemned the first killing, than condemning the second killing could have moral standing. People of Palestine need to decide between JIHAD and coexistence with Israel? Is this in reality a tough decision for the Arabs? Is the dogma of Jihad vibrates with the paranoia of infidels? Despise to infidels are the basic component of Jihad, without despise the dogma may lose its ground.

In the age of high technology, suicidal bomb and preparatory war fare technique with sword and knife may never equate Israel, who responded with brutal military firepower to incapacitate Hamas in the Gaza valley, but most of the victims were innocents . But more than three hundred lives were lost in last 10 days only. We all condemn the killing of innocents and make Jihad responsible for sparking the fire ball. By sparking conflict this time Hamas has only brought miseries to Palestine people. Two third Hamas missiles were intercepted by Israeli air defense system. Five thousand Hamas missile cost one Israeli life ,in against three hundred Palestine deaths. It’s high time to sign a cease fire treaty at both the parties’ interest, if the conflict longer more measures for Palestine and more isolation for Israel?

The world media and politicians who fearful of Islamist's killing power never talk the harsh Truth, are needed to reexamine the platform of hate-Israel .

WHEN SWORD AND BOMBS OF ISLAMISTS KILL HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS,INCLUDING MUSLIMS , THE WORLD SPARES NOT A WORD , BUT THEY SHRILL WHEN A RETALIATION KILLS A MUSLIM .

THE APOLOGISTS , COMMUNISTS AND NAXALS MUST CONDEMN THE FIRST ATTACKERS, TO ENSURE NO RESPONSE. EVIL MUST STOP AT SOURCE.

HOW CLERICS AND SHARIA RADICALIZE
MUSLIMS IN INDIA AND PAKISTAN?

Sharia as a Platform for Espousing Violence and as a Cause for Waging Armed Jihad – Moorthy S. Muthuswamy, Ph.D.

Respected Colleagues:

I am enclosing herewith a brilliantly researched article by Moorthy S. Muthuswamy, Ph.D., published by Albany Government Law Review. The author is a U.S. based Nuclear Physicist. He is well-versed in Islamic studies. He has participated in several anti-terrorism conferences. He has devoted at least 25 years of his life on the issues of Radical Islam, Jihad (Holy War) and Sharia (Islamic Code of Conduct). He is the author of Defeating Political Islam: The New Cold War. Here is the link:

http://www.albanygovernmentlawreview.org/archives/pages/article-information.aspx?volume=7&issue=2&page=347

This article requires a serious study by the Think Tanks on Terrorism, associations and groups of people who want to know more about Jihad, Sharia and Radical Islam. It runs into 35 pages. Please have a casual look at it, save it and read it at your convenience.

In a broad sense, this article calls for a strategy similar to the one used to counter—as part of the Cold War—the ideological basis of the former Soviet Communism, with an understanding that undercutting the influence of Sharia also helps promote religious freedom and human rights of those under its spell.

If time permits, you may also have a look at his following small article published by South Asia Analysis Group:

THIS LETTER IS FOR YOU

Dear Sir/Madam,

Adv. Rabindra Ghosh of Bangladesh Minority Watch is again threatened by S.P.Lalmonirhat District on 14.07.2014 in Bangladesh:

Cause of Intimidation by T.M. Mozahidul Islam- S.P. Lalmonirhat.

Only yesterday on 14th July, 2014 while I wanted to know from S.P. Lalmonirhat the recent attack on 13th July, 2014 upon Hindu Minorities at Patgram Upazila of Lalmonirhat District (news published in the Daily Star dated 14th July, 14) and also abduction, rape and forceful conversion to Islam of minor Hindu girl – Ms. Pinky Roy (11 years 9 months) at Aditmari Upazila of Lalmorhat District reported in daily news papers. During our discussion over cell phone No. +01713373941 with Mr. T.M. Mozahidul Islam, Superintendent if Police on the spur of moment started to rebuke me with filthy languages being religiously motivated saying “Do you recollect the incident at Chandpur District while I tried to arrest you for your illegal activities filming photo and video of the victims relating to land grabbing case while I was the Additional Superintendent of Police, Chandpur” I politely replied that “You have done a good work trying to arrest me for a good cause. He started to threaten me not to disturb him any more for any human rights issues in his jurisdiction. He also continued to say “Why you are not going to Israel to fight against them to show your human rights activities there, as Israeli soldiers are murdering innocent Muslims in Jerusalem”

Previously also T.M. Mozahidul Islam, while he was Additional Superintendent of Police, posted at Chandpur District in the year, 2010 he tried to snatch away our video camera and put our camera man confined in a room most illegally to suppress the violations of religious rights on Hindu Temple situated at South Motlab Upazila of Chandpur District.

Recommendations:-

Bangladesh Minority Watch is very much concerned about this continuous threatening of T.M. Mozahidul Islam, Superintend of Police,Lalmonirhat. He should be asked why his conduct toward Human Rights defender will not be rectified and why she will be held responsible for threatening Advocate Rabindra Ghosh of BDMW in Bangladesh without taking any action against the perpetrators of crime committed at Patgram Upazila and Aditmari Upazila on minority communities provoking previous act of misbehavior done earlier by him at Chandpur District.

I contacted with the Inspector-General of Police –Bangladesh over his cell number but he was not responding at that time.

China bans Ramadan fast in Muslim northwest

A BEIJING (AP) — Students and civil servants in China's Muslim northwest, where Beijing is enforcing a security crackdown following deadly unrest, have been ordered to avoid taking part in traditional fasting during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

Statements posted in the past several days on websites of schools, government agencies and local party organizations in the Xinjiang region said the ban was aimed at protecting students' wellbeing and preventing use of schools and government offices to promote religion. Statements on the websites of local party organizations said members of the officially atheist ruling party also should avoid fasting.

"No teacher can participate in religious activities, instill religious thoughts in students or coerce students into religious activities," said a statement on the website of the No. 3 Grade School in Ruoqiang County in Xinjiang.

Similar bans have been imposed in the past on fasting for Ramadan, which began at sundown Saturday. But this year is unusually sensitive because Xinjiang is under tight security following attacks that the government blames on Muslim extremists with foreign terrorist ties.

Violence has escalated in recent years in Xinjiang. The ruling party blames violent extremists that it says want independence, while members of the region's Uighur ethnic group complain that discrimination and restrictions on religion, such as a ban on taking children to mosques, are fueling anger at the ethnic Han Chinese majority.

An attack on May 22 in the regional capital of Urumqi by four people who threw bombs in a vegetable market killed 43 people, including the attackers. On June 22, police in Kashgar in the far west said they killed 13 assailants who drove into a police building and set off explosives, injuring three officers. Authorities have blamed two other attacks at train stations in Urumqi and in China's southwest on Muslim extremists.

The government responded with a crackdown that resulted in more than 380 arrests in one month and public rallies to announce sentences.

The ruling party is wary of religious activities it worries might serve as a rallying point for opposition to one-party rule. Controls on worship are especially sensitive in Xinjiang and in neighboring Tibet, where religious faith plays a large role in local cultures.

On Tuesday, authorities in some communities in Xinjiang held celebrations of the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party and served food to test whether Muslim guests were fasting, according to Dilxat Raxit, spokesman in Germany for the rights group World Uyghur Congress.

"This will lead to more conflicts if China uses coercive measures to rule and to challenge Uighur beliefs," said Dilxat Raxit in an email.

The ruling party says religion and education should be kept separate and students should not be subject to religious influences. That rule is rarely enforced for children of Han Chinese, who, if they have a religion, are mostly Buddhist, Daoist or Christian.

"Students shall not participate in religious activities; they shall not study scripts or read poems at script and choir classes; they shall not wear any religious emblems; and no parent or others can force students to have religious beliefs or partake in religious activities," said the statement on the website of the grade school in Ruoqiang County.

A news portal run by the government of Yili in the northern reaches of Xinjiang said fasting is detrimental to the physical wellbeing of young students, who should eat regularly.

In the city of Bole, retired teachers from the Wutubulage Middle School were called in to stand guard at mosques and prevent students from entering, according to a statement on the municipal party committee website.

Also in Bole, the Bozhou University of Radio and Television said on its website it held a meeting with working and retired minority teachers on the first day of the Ramadan to remind them of the fasting ban.

The forestry bureau in Xinjiang's Zhaosu county held an event the day before Ramadan at which party cadres signed a pledge they and their relatives would "firmly resist fasting," according to a statement on the website of the local party committee.

The Moyu Weather Bureau in the Hotan area said on its website that Muslim employees, both active and retired, were required to sign a letter promising not to fast.

The commercial bureau for Turpan, an oasis town in the Taklamakan Desert, said in a statement that civil servants are "strictly forbidden" to fast or perform the Salat prayer ritual in a mosque.

BOLD DECISIONS BY MODI GOVT IN
2 DAYS NOT TAKEN IN LAST 60 YEARS

These steps are certainly a Game changer for India in coming years.

  1. Defence Ministry approved fast-track road building along the disputed border with China.
  2. New 50 posts will be established in strategic position of Indo-China Border.
  3. $2 billion extension to the Karwar Naval base in the southern state of Karnataka. The base is intended to take the load off Mumbai port, used by the navy and civilian ships.

  5. Radars and telecommunications projects within 100 km (62 miles) of the 4,000-km (2,500-mile) border with China, large parts of which are disputed, will be put on an automatic approval list.
  6. Govt. Approved a long-stalled proposal to raise the height of the Narmada dam to 138.73 metres (455 feet), from 121.92 metres (400 feet), so more water will be available for drinking, irrigation and power generation.
  7. In another significant move, the government has decided not to hike the prices of LPG cylinders. Also, the cap on the number of subsidised LPG cylinders will remain unchanged at 12 per year.
  8. In a significant development, the Modi government has decided to make X-Ray, MRI and CT scans free of cost for the poor at government hospitals.
  9. The Government plans to plant 200 crore trees along the entire 1 lakh km National Highways network across the country to employ jobless youth. A similar scheme could be implemented under MNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act) along the village and district roads and state highways. That has the potential to employ 30 lakh youth.
  10. Moving ahead with its plans of creating a "broadband highway" across the country, the inter-ministerial telecom commission approved a revised strategy for kickstarting the ambitious National Optical Fibre Network (NOFN) that plans to provide broadband connectivity to 2.5 lakh gram panchayats through nearly 6 lakh km of optic fibre by March, 2017.

Gazetted Officers........ Bye - Bye....

Govt may drop Attestation of documents by gazetted officers ( Stamps Walo Aapke Din Gaye)

You may no longer need a Gazetted officer or a magistrate to attest documents sought by Govt. Departments.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked his bureaucrats to repeal all laws and rules which come in the way of effective Governance. In a meeting with secretaries on Wednesday, the PM suggested government departments should adopt the system of self-attestation of certificates, photographs and marksheets, instead of asking for Attested Documents or filing of affidavits. He also told officials all Government application forms should be made short and simple by doing away with unnecessary fields.

“The prime minister said self attestation should be enough because it is a hassle for the common man to get it attested from Gazetted officers. Anyway, the original documents are required to be produced at the final selection... (Courtesy BS)..

Please Share this Useful Information With Everyone Mr. Modi has passed an epic resolution:

Only Scientist and Technical associate will participate and attend the Scientist Conference in India and Abroad....No Minister or Bureaucrat is allowed as a part of this delegations This is land mark decision as almost 50% participant were non technical Ministers and his cronies....who did not understand a thing on the subject.....they just uses to enjoy travel and hospitality at Govt expense For last 67 years nobody had time n inclination to change this as there was no vision in their heads right from Nehru to Sonia ....they have systematically changed the rules to serve their own dynastic purpose and looted the country Bravo Mr Modi.

RELIGION OF PEACE - HATEFUL FOLLOWERS
SEX-ASSAULT KAFIRS

S KARMAKAR

Rape and sexual abuse of minority girls are integral part of culture and society to-day. No rape incident is isolated from each other, that vibrates from its neighbors attitude and mind set. The inspiration of rape is generated from the deep despise to other religion . Even different sects of same religion also don't rule out from them. As example Iraqi Shiite were not allowed to escape of rape from its Sunni radical groups like ISISL. Same way Sia will not let a chance go to cause harm to supposed enemies. . In fact this is a weapon to inflict harm to the people of other faith and at the same time satisfy the sensual gratification of lust .

Rape has been used as most effective tools to conversion . Very recently Christian minor girls were abducted by BOKO HARAM in Nigeria, members of BOKO HARAM are also follower of " religion of peace ". When sword becomes the symbol of peace in any culture, the peace runs away . Religion of Peace is the problem of Arabs and problem of world to-day.

Indian elections May 2014

(i) The election victory of BJP under Narendra Modi was a great surprise to every one. We meet visitors from Hindusthan during Special London Tours and the general consensus was that BJP may have to enter into coalition with other parties. Various E Mails we received from Hindusthan and America also predicted a win for Congress Party again.

They all have been proved wrong. Even Rahul Gandhi’s outburst that RSS was responsible for killing of Mahatma Gandhi, did not have any effect. It served as a trump card for Congress Party for a long time, but no more. BJP now has absolute majority in the Parliament. The bogey of Muslim block vote has been smashed.

We note two signs of optimism

(1) Special Commission has been appointed to get back black money held abroad by Indian citizens.
(2) The mischief played by Mani Shankar Iyer in Andaman jail is going to be rectified.

(ii) We also hope that Modi does not make same mistakes as made by our leaders in the past. After suffering from Muslim barbarity for 200 years Sikhs finally established their kingdom under Maharaja Ranjit Singh in 1801. But he got possessed by the idea that he MUST BE FAIR to Muslims. Why? And astonishingly in 2014 Inderjit Singh of Sikh Messenger tells us with pride of Ranjit Singh’s generosity to Muslims (BBC Radio4). At one locality Hindus complained about noise made by Muslims during their call to prayer. Ranjit Singh replied, “If you agree to remind Muslims about their time for prayer I will listen to your complaint about their noise.” And how did Muslims in Punjab pay back? By committing most barbaric atrocities on Sikhs in 1947.

(iii) Going through past records Godbole found out that on 19 September 2009 he had conducted one Special London Tour for Anandiben Patel, then one of the ministers in Narendra Modi’s cabinet of Gujarath. She is now Chief Minister of Gujarath. Let is hope that one day Godbole will organize a Special London Tour for Narendra Modi too

We expect Modi’s Government to -

  • (i) Open up all Government files up to 1984, just as the British Government does. Let us know our true history.
  • (ii) Expose scams of Sonia, Sharad Pawar and their cronies. This should not be one off but must be done continuously over the period of 5 years so that people will never vote for them again.
  • (iii) Control activities of NGOs. They are funded from abroad for anti-India activities.
  • (iv) Keep tabs on moles planted in BJP by CIA, ISI, Sonia and others. They are parasites.
  • (v) Keep dossier on all his opponents. One list is easily seen in Stop-Modi campaign.

Death of Vikram Savarkar

On 23 February Hindu Mahasabha's former chief Vikramrao Savarkar, a nephew of freedom-fighter and Hindu leader V.D. Savarkar, died of old age at his residence in Maharashtra's Thane district. He was 82. As the president of Hindu Mahasabha in the 1970s and 1980s, he had campaigned for a united India, a common civil code, protection of Hindus, protesting against the Shimla Agreement between India and Pakistan after the 1971 Bangladesh war, and also took up other nationalist and patriotic issues. He was the founder of the Swatantraveer Savarkar Seva Samiti and was also instrumental in setting up the Swatantraveer Savarkar National Memorial (SSNM) in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife Swamini, sons Prithviraj, Ranjit and daughter Snusha. Thousands of followers and Hindu Mahasabha activists gathered at Savarkar's residence to pay homage to him.

Through internet, Godbole has established contact with Ranjit, son of Vikram Savarkar.

Vikram used to run a Marathi monthly called Prajwalant. Ranjit has informed that all the issues of Prajwalant are available in Savarkar Smarak in Mumbai. Godbole has asked Dr Bedekar to get all these issues scanned and make a CD for future generations. Ranjit is chairman of Swatantryaveer Savarkar National Memorial, Mumbai.

Americans are interfering again

In February 2014 American Ambassador Nancy Powell met Narendra Modi then Gujarat Chief Minister AND some NGOs.

On Sat, Feb 15, 2014 at 12:04 AM, joshiml@yahoo.com wrote: As a US Ambassador, she must have obtained permission from Ministry of External Affairs to meet various "NGO" organizations and obtained necessary pre-visit security clearance, all paid by GOI. Most Ambassadors these days keep their itinerary confidential for security reasons. Indian media has no reason to find out as long as it is to dismantle NaMO.

On the other hand, have we seen any Indian Ambassador posted in western countries ever dare to meet with anti-government NGOs in western or Islamic nations? Can you imagine an Indian Ambassador plan a meeting with the Canadian PM in the morning and then on the same day have a meeting with Native Indian groups in Alberta asking for nationhood and separation from Canada? or go to China and meet Tibet separatists? (Of course not! We are eternally guided by Bapu)

Most NGOs in Gujarat are working for anti-national groups supported by Teesta, Arundhati, Medha Patkar, Javed / Shabana, and Mahesh Bhatt. Shree NaMo knows very well about these rats and their pro-Pakistani activities.

On foreign policy side, the US has been consistent with their view with respect to India, Indian Muslims and Pakistan. All US Secretary of State visit both India and Pakistan during same trip. .. It is stupid to expect that the US will hug Hindus in public and spit on Muslims, that too inside India. Hindus will have to learn how to deal with the US having only business or transactional relationship with India. Nancy Powell did inform NaMO about G-8, IMF, WTO, etc. under Chacha international community. In other words, join the club or you will be side lined.

As far as Indian NGOs are concerned, they will not disappear if we simply identify them in public. Chacha spends roughly $60 billion per year supporting NGOs around the world (roughly 1/3rd resources in India and China) for long-term foreign policy and political/economic objectives (50+ years in the future)… Slavish Indians having lowest self-worth are easy victims and become a part of NGO. Congress has made sure that Indians remain poor, hungry, desperate and always ready to grab easy $ for anything.

Shree NaMo will be extra careful with double dealing Chacha. Most business contracts in Gujarat go to Japan, Germany and SE Asian nations anyway. Japan is the infrastructure partner in Gujarat.

Here are some links on SEWA/Powell meeting, other NGOs and Indian Press,

AHMEDABAD: US Ambassador Nancy Powell who visited Gujarat CM and BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar later spent time with women artisans and leaders of Self Employed Women's Association (Sewa) listening to their experiences of building and running all-woman agricultural produce company 'Rudi'.

After around one hour meeting with Modi, Nancy Powell went to leader of opposition Shankersinh Vaghela’s residence where the meeting was also joined by Gujarat Congress president Arjun Modhwadia and former state Congress president Siddharth Patel. Read more at: www.indiatoday.intoday.in

The meeting between Nancy Powell and Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar on Thursday might be seen as a positive step in the Gujarat Chief Minister's tempestuous relations with the US but facts on the ground indicate that the US is trying to do a balancing act in the vain hope of keeping Modi as well as his enemies happy.

But the US does not seem to realise the pitfalls of such an approach for long-term foreign policy in case a consummate political player such as Modi becomes the prime minister.

Interestingly, a dinner hosted by the Consul General in Ahmedabad last year had a fairly large number of virulent anti-Modi activists danger for its foreign policy in case Modi becomes the prime minister because he has a penchant for not forgetting the barbs he faced in the past and reacting to them even after long intervals and in a manner in which the blame doesn't get pinned down on him as a matter of public perception.

This balancing act of the US might be fraught with.

25000 Wahabi scholars visited India last year.

Vicky Nanjappa
Vickynanjappa.com
June 26, 2014

URL : www.vickynanjappa.com

A shocking report by the Intelligence Bureau suggests that last year 25000 Islamic scholars preaching the extremely ultra conservative form of Wahabi Islam had visited India. The details of the report pertaining to the year 2013 show that many of them had come in the guise of visitors on a tourist visa from 20 different countries and had participated in events in 15 states which attracted a crowd of nearly 12,00,000 people.

Does India need to worry about this? Very much say the experts and security agencies and if one looks at the report these scholars have managed to visit states such as Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Bihar, Maharashtra and Jharkhand. The statistics of 2013 would show a large number of such preachers visiting India, but the fact remains that these persons have been coming into India in large numbers since the year 2005. There has been a sudden surge in the visit by these hardcore who preach the harshest form of Islam which today is being practiced by groups such as the ISIS and the Taliban.

It is an indirect way to indoctrinate the youth and during their preaching they emphasis on the implementation of the Sharia law in its worst form. They speak about the importance of this law and also tell the youth that the only way to save the religion is through the implementation of this law. Surprisingly these sessions had a lot of takers and the estimated crowd that attended last year was around 12 lakh.

The preachers who landed in India were mainly from Saudi Arabia where a good number of people subscribe to this ultra conservative form of Islam. Most of these preachers who came to India on a tourist visa move around in the hardcore Tablighi Jamaats who arrange for such meetings. These are all very powerful speakers and unfortunately several youth have been inspired by such talks.

Intelligence Bureau officials say that apart from the Tablighi Jamaat invitations to such scholars preaching Wahabi Islam were sent out by other organsations such as the Ahl-e-Hadis and Jamaat Nizamuddin Markaz.

If one takes a look at the interrogation report of the Indian Mujahideen operatives, they speak in great appreciation of the Wahabi form of Islam. Yasin Bhatkal himself during the report said that the idea is to implement the Sharia law and the IM was formed with this intention in mind.

Apart from the security threat emerging due to the indoctrination of some of the youth through these seminars, there is also a chance of hell breaking lose between the Muslim community too. India’s 20 crore Muslim population today has 80 per cent of them subscribing to the moderate form of Islam. However the worry is the gradual rise in the number of Muslims subscribing to the Wahabi form of Islam.

Around 10 years back the number of such Muslims was around 8 to 10 per cent and today it has gone up to 20. What the security agencies fear is that on one hand some youth especially from hardcore belts such as Kerala and Bihar get attracted to these foreign preachers. One the other hand there is a good chance of India becoming a conflict zone such as Iraq between the hardcores and the moderates. The number of the hardcore is rising and needs to be stopped. For this the scrutiny process of such scholars visiting India should be enhanced.

Seminars which they are part of should be looked into carefully and these indoctrination programmes should be brought under check says the Intelligence Bureau official. Further with the crisis in Iraq gaining supporters among the hardcore even in India, we need to watch out and if by any chance the same occurs in Afghanistan once the West leaves, then India will have a lot of trouble to deal with, the officer also says.

A JAPANESE ACT TO EMULATE

On Saturday, June 14, the Japanese shocked the world when spectators voluntarily cleaned up an entire stadium after their team lost in a World Cup soccer match against Argentina. Regardless of who littered, the Japanese spectators picked up cans, tissues, even pieces of confetti and deposited the trash in the dustbins on their way out. This astonishing act wasn’t some group act of protest or a statement of some kind. The Japanese were just cleaning up after themselves, which, apparently, comes naturally to them and is a big part of their culture. We dug a little bit more, curious to understand how an entire country’s people practise “cleaning up.”

BJP need to give security to Dr. Swamy - :
Is Subramanian Swamy a genius in whatever he does?

D .SATYA

BJP should give security to Dr. Swamy. Narendra Modi said while he would not go after anyone with vindictiveness he will let the legal system take its course. Dr. Swamy is following legal course and BJP should give proper protection to Dr. Swamy.

Sonia Gandhi and her cronies have powerful allies both in India and abroad and they can very well engineer attacks on Dr. Swamy. It may be a simple car crash, an air explosion, even poisoning or downright attack which could even be made to look like he was attacked for completely different reason. (In fact, an attack was made in New Delhi at his home compound after he went after Robert Vadra couple of years ago). We know how a banker found committed suicide (read "murder") hanging under a london bridge just the night before he was going to expose the money laundering of vactican few years ago.

Withdraw Bharat Ratna award given to Mr. Amartya Sen – Dr. Swamy writes to PM

July 9, 2012.
Dr. Manmohan Singh,
Prime Minister of India,
South Block,
New Delhi.

Dear Prime Minister:
I write this letter to draw your attention to the conduct that is unbecoming of a Bharat Ratna awardee, namely, Prof. Amartya Sen.

In the Nalanda University issue, irregularities have become multi-dimensional and which threaten to scuttled the very existence of the University and raise serious issues about the proposed Nalanda university. It will be appropriate for the PMO to call for a report on the various allegations, particularly Mr. Amartya Sen’s unbecoming conduct in the affairs of the University.

I also wish to draw your attention to the reported statement of Mr. Amartya Sen made in Britain sometime ago where he said that “Christian schools” are perfectly acceptable in Britain because they have a long tradition of imparting good education. He called for closing down all other including Hindu denomination schools in the U.K. to ensure a single British identity. While it was the NDA Government which decorated Amartya Sen with Bharat Ratna, nevertheless your Government has the responsibility to see that those who are bestowed this highest award continue to act in a manner consistent with that award. Therefore, I urge you to initiate necessary action to withdraw Bharat Ratna award given to Mr. Amartya Sen.

Let me also add that one of Amartya Sen’s family companies has been involved in the auctioneering of the 3G Spectrum about which I shall apprise you later. It may soon blow up as a scam.

Yours sincerely,
( SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY )

THREAT OF GLOBAL JIHAD – RAM KUMAR OHRI

Muslim Mob's Murderous Assault on Hindu youth for speaking to Muslim woman in Udupi, Karnataka.

This unsuspecting Hindu youth Sudhir Rane was drawn into a trap, his clothes ripped off, hacked with knives, his face kicked and trampled, beaten to pulp, his hair cut off with scissors and the gory video circulated on Facebook and Whatsap by the Muslim mobsters.

When Rane was taken to a local hospital, the doctors advised that he be taken to Manipal hospital for advanced treatment in view of his serious condition.

The ELM sees no Islamic religious motives in this grievous assault, while the candle-light leftists (who are screaming about Pune) are conspicuously silent !

Such Jehadi attacks on Hindu happen with impunity in Congress-ruled Karnataka which condones violence to appease its Muslim votebank !

The oppressed Hindus of Karnataka are hoping that the Government of India will sack the Aurangzeb-like Congress regime in the state under Article 356 and put an end to their misery !

FOREIGN FUNDING TO CHRISTIANIZE ? TO ISLAMIZE ?

Harilal Patel

I had discussion with several groups in USA, like University of Norte Dame, A group in NW PA and numerous church groups in USA give handsome money to various groups in India to promote Christianity. They also get involve in training militants and even supplying GUNS to them. AL this is done on the name of Humanitarian activities.

Islamic countries pour in money to Muslim youth on the name of teaching in Madrasas and many social activists like Teesta Setalvad lives on it.

World vision, CARE and many international christian organizations have been dominating political fields in south India.

These NGO receives billons of dollars from Overseas and spread the way they want it.

I think all foreign funds must be stopped and if any government or private foundation wants to give money for any cause, it must come through central government only. It should be censored.

How can it be explained? Is it the same infectious 'Sickularism' decease or somthing else?

India’s Narendra Modi
May Address Joint Session of U.S. Congress.

Narendra Modi's address to US Congress has to wait. Uncle Sam has a lot of apologies, remorse pending.

This report is a clever ruse to entice Narendra Modi to visit White House and Capitol Hill.

NaMo should refuse the invitation. People of Bharat, 1.25 billion people have been insulted by Uncle Sam and they demand an unconditional apology for the humiliating way his visa was bandied about as a foreign policy ploy. Shame on you, Uncle Sam!

At the outse, Uncle Sam, express and demonstrate unconditional remorse for the high & mighty grandstanding as self-assumed global cop.

People of India have heard and conversed with NaMo and know him to be a true patriot, a true son of Bharata maataa. Does Uncle Sam understand the import of these terms: Bharata, maataa MOTHER?

DOES VISA MEAN ANYTHING TO MODI, SHOULD IT MEAN ANYTHING MORE TO HIM NOW THAT HE IS THE PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA, DOES HE NEED IT ?

MODI AND AMERICAN VISA:DOES HE NEED IT?

by

DR. Seshachalam Dutta

Much was said about denial of visa for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi by USA . We examine whether it really matters.

Modi’s adversaries relish the visa denial as an endorsement of their hatred of Modi. Some in Indian parliament of late petitioned the U.S president to continue to deny him a visa, realizing little that it is an undignified and a shameless act of the leaders of a free and sovereign country to punish and symbolically humiliate their own leader by turning to a foreign power, for they were impotent to act in bringing him down in the national elections, much like a eunuch begging his neighbor to control his wayward wife.

However much they hate him, how could they invest moral authority in foreign Government, however powerful, to render judgment on one of their own leaders elected by the majority of five hundred and forty four million voting people? The petition itself was so faked that, at least, one of the supposed signatories, Comrade Yechuri denied having signed it. Now, Modi has achieved a historic victory and decimated the sycophantic and oligarchic establishment hiding behind the symbols of a dynasty.

There is, of course, a group in US consisting of evangelicals and Marxist liberals, strange bedfellows who act jointly against any group that subscribes to Hindu Nationalism.

Evangelicals are aided by the council of religious freedom, a governmental organization, which categorizes India as one of the countries lacking religious freedom, regardless of the fact that Hindus themselves enjoy the greatest freedom of religion in their practice of worshipping various images including Muslim peers and fakirs. What the evangelicals really distortedly mean by religious freedom is the unfettered license for them to convert Hindus by extricating Hindus from their ancient culture and advocating that Hindus accept that every religion is false other than Christianity and every concept of God is false other than the personhood of Jesus.

Liberals don’t have locus standii to take issue with conversion but they become partners with the evangelicals when hating Hindu Nationalists of whom Modi is one. This is the same combination of the elements which was successful in removing Subramanian Swamy from Harvard. Pratap Bhanu Mehta in his column in "The Hindu" warned that this very group will act against India, if Modi were to be elected. Here again the mindset is that we have to hearken to American interest groups as they influenced the US politicians succeeding in the denial of visa to Modi.

The question is not whether he should accept the visa granted to him, but should he visit these countries which denied him visa and for what purpose? Our view is that he should not.

We will review the visits of previous Prime ministers who visited the USA in the past and what little they accomplished leave alone some of the adverse reactions of the press and administration as such visits are purely ceremonial with nothing to be accomplished in reality.

It is a routine event that many elected heads of a state including those of India run to Washington as if it is a pilgrimage to get the audience with U.S President. Nehru made four visits to U.S, the first one in 1949, asking for help for food aid to avert famine, which was categorically denied and the Soviets came to his rescue. He viewed himself as World Leader advocating non-alignment without realizing that to be non-aligned needs internal strength, thus cherishing delusions of grandeur.

He later visited the U.S in 1959 during the Presidency of Kennedy. The president received him and in his welcoming address praised him saying how he and Gandhi were known beyond the borders of India. Historical reports indicate that Kennedy wanted to nurture enduring relations with India which were obstructed by the bureaucracy of the State department and by British(especially Mountbatten) and Pakistani Governments. Kennedy has been reported to have remarked that Nehru’s was the worst State visit that he had experienced. Nehru was so preachy that Kennedy reportedly remarked that to him “Nehru sounded like a town preacher caught in a whore house.” Jacqueline Kennedy noted that Indira Gandhi, who incidentally always accompanied Nehru on his foreign visits as “great prune, pushy and always looking as if sucking a lemon.”

Without going into the details of other Indian Prime ministers' visits to U.S we may remain content by examining the other one with a long tenure, Indira Gandhi.

Indian press and public media are totally inadequate and cannot ask tough questions when they confront their leaders. It is different in the US. Indira Gandhi had a taste of the freedom of the press in the US and faced embarrassment in her interview by Ted Koppel on NBC "Nightline". Discussing the mission of her visit to U.S., Koppel asked her about her purpose to which she replied that hers was a “goodwill mission”. After questioning her on her differences with US on foreign policy, at the end he asked her about her views on US policy on Nicaragua for which she expressed her disagreement with US. Koppel ended interview with the remark ‘what is it that you do not like about US Madam Gandhi?’ Before she answered, the broadcast ended, for it was so edited. That was precisely the reason why Gorbachev insisted to NBC that his broadcast be live and remain unedited!

Indira Gandhi’s visit to President Nixon to justify her impending military intervention in East Pakistan (now Bangle Desh) is also an example of failure of personal diplomacy. Investigative journalist Seymour Hersh writes that, intentionally she was kept waiting in the receiving room in the White House while discussing with Kissinger the US tilt towards Pakistan. For one thing she was tough enough to order invasion of East Pakistan en route to India. Here again, she did not realize that personal diplomacy has no role in decision making.

US ambassador to India John Kenneth Galbraith, in an article, outlined how the presidential decisions are made. Very often the policies are formulated mainly by the state department bureaucracy and expert advisors at each level leaving very little choice for the president, as is evident in overruling Kennedy’s desire to have greater tie up with India. When China attacked India, U.S. instantly realized the importance of support for India, not because of Nehru’s charm. Recently unclassified CIA report recounts, how China which was in league with Nehru, dumped him on the issue of Tibet and on the Border issue. U.S government knew that the so called non-alignment leader was called two faced by Chinese press when he was privately critical of Soviet invasion of Hungary. Finally the bond with Chou En-lai snapped. Chinese press called him not only two faced but one who never understood Marxism properly. They wanted to humiliate him and he had no place to go, not Soviets, not even the so-called non-aligned friends, and it was ultimately the U.S Government through the influence of Galbraith that provided instant assistance.

Time Magazine in contempt remarked “we gave everything to Indians but the courage to fight”. That was the extent of personal diplomacy of Indian Prime Ministers. With all the publicity in Indian press of photo ops of visiting Indian Prime Ministers, at the critical moments India had no place to go other than to turn to the U.S.A. That was the collapse of the non-alignment. Nehru died of broken heart; he had a stroke. Sadly he hankered to his position of P.M dragging his foot and Time magazine reported the unkind remark of Ram Manohar Lohia “whether we still have to have a cripple as P.M.” Referring to the authoritarian leaders of Catholic Church, Bertrand Russell remarked that people who have sacrificed all the pleasures of life could not overcome the lust for power. It is more so with politics. Nehru was one of those who spent years in jail like Tilak, Gandhi and Savarkar, but he could not give up his desire for power. That is what makes Nelson Mandela an ideal patriotic leader of all post-colonial countries.

Policy decisions of advanced countries have nothing to do with public charm. When President Jimmy Carter visited India in 1978 he paid glowing tributes to Gandhi, Nehru and Morarji Desai as leaders who were dedicated to the country and endured long jail sentences; and at the end in a private conversation with his aids, he was caught on tape saying “we should deliver cold and blunt message to Desai." This was widely reported in press which was smoothened and downplayed by Morarji in public.

This is in contrast with the action of Khrushchev when Nixon visited the Soviet Union. While Nixon was visiting Khrushchev, U2 spy plane was in the air and was shot down capturing the pilot. Khrushchev called off the meeting and Nixon had to abruptly fly home. Could Morarji have done that? He could,if only he had the sense that prestige of the Nation rested on his shoulders. In another instance, with reference to Chinese and U.S relations, U.S spy plane was forced landed in China during early days of Bush administration. The Chinese stripped the plane of spy equipment and did not allow it to fly back, but has to be transported on ground dismantled part by part. India has a long way to go to learn to act like a big power. It has to be remembered in this context, that US, through the efforts of Secretary Baker has moved economically closer to China in a bargain for Chinese vote in U.N. during the first Gulf war. Baker recounts this in his book on Gulf War.

Neither Chairman Mao nor Chou En-lai visited US. Kissinger’s China diplomacy is touted as historical achievement. It was Nixon who went to China and recognized China on their terms, de-recognizing Taiwan as an independent country. Mao did not receive Nixon until the last day of his tour to China, creating a buzz in US press. Neither of the Chinese leaders felt a need to visit U.S or White House.

When India developed nuclear bomb during the administration of Vajpayee, Secretary Madeline Albright bemoaned that they would not know these BJP people and how to deal with them as they knew all about Congress Government! That mystique disappeared with the visit of Vajpayee to U.S. As a result when Indian parliament was attacked by Pakistani terrorists, there was wide spread speculation as to how India would retaliate, as retaliation were to be initiated was quite justifiable. After all, for the attack by terrorists in 9/11 in New York US fought two decade long wars. But Bush speaking to the press about the Pakistani terrorist attack on India’s parliament announced that he had asked “Vajpayee to stand down.” Asking the leader of a Nation to "stand down?” He would dare not say that to an Israeli P.M. That is what happens when the weakness of a leader is perceived and when a leader of a sovereign nation is expected to convince his people of the wisdom of following the super power.

Probably, all there is to be known about Modi is already known through CIA and other investigative reporters from US. Robert Kaplan, an advisor to U.S armed forces visited Chief Minister Modi and wrote in his book “Monsoon” fairly accurate assessment of Modi’s priorities. Modi’s visit would not change Obama’s stand on Kashmir or nuclear issues, both of which Modi declared as his priorities in the past. After all, Obama is going to be a lame duck president in a year. Modi would achieve nothing to have a ‘vegetarian dinner’ in White House. This was what was said of Nehru’s visit as described by Kennedy, "the vegetarian dinner" "a disappointing event." After all CIA did not know that Nehru was not at all a vegetarian who smoked cigars and drank wine in private!

THREAT OF GLOBAL JIHAD – RAM KUMAR OHRI

Respected Colleagues:

I am enclosing herewith a thought provoking article written by Ram Kumar Ohri, a retired Indian Police Service official narrating the frightening scenario enacted by 1500-2000 skull-cap wearing jihadi motorcyclists in New Delhi in June, 2013 under the banners of Soldiers of Islam”, “Sons of Islam”, “Deen Riders”, etc.

In this article, Mr. Ohri is warning his readers that the soldiers of Islam are preparing to wage a global jihad against the so-called ‘kaffirs’ (read the non-Muslim) from America to the Phillipines via Europe, Middle East and Indian sub-continent.

Hence it is incumbent on the democracies of the world (USA, UK, France, Germany, India, Israel and others) to get rid of the idea of political correctness to save the civilized world from annihilation at the hands of global jihadists.

FORMING OF HINDU AMERICAN POLITICAL
ACTION COMMITTEE

We’re excited to introduce to you the newly formed Hindu American Political Action Committee (HAPAC). Before you ask whether we really need another Hindu organization, first answer this: As one of the most educated and financially successful communities, is our political voice just as strong? Or even close? HAPAC has been created because the answer is a resounding NO. Truth is, shaping public policy is a numbers game and money does make things move. The leaders of HAPAC have recognized this fact and are asking you to join them to help build an effective Hindu American voice in matters of U.S. public policy.

HAPAC is an independent, non-partisan political action committee for the Hindu American community. By the law, HAPAC is a federal lobby and is currently capped at a maximum contribution of $2,600 to any one candidate per election , and $5,000 to any one candidate per election once that cap is lifted.

What are HAPAC’s policy objectives?
  1. To protect and promote the religious liberty and civil rights of Hindu Americans.
  2. To make the religious freedom and human rights of Hindus in other parts of the world a priority in U.S. foreign policy on par with trade, security, and other strategic interests.
  3. To promote other policies impacting the broader interests of Hindu Americans.
  4. To cultivate and support the next generation of Hindu American policy makers.

Who will HAPAC consider supporting?
  1. Federal candidates who are committed to one or more of the objectives of the PAC.
  2. A federal candidate who is running against a candidate (or incumbent) whose interests run counter to the objectives of the PAC.
  3. Irrespective of the candidates or elected officials involved, HAPAC makes direct contributions in order to influence a specific piece of legislation. HAPAC has already supported Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA), Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), Rep. Eric Swallwell (D-CA), and Rep. Ami Bera (D-CA) for their demonstrated commitment to Hindu human rights worldwide, and Congressional candidates State Sen. Ellen Corbett (D-CA), Swati Dandekar (D-IA) and Dr. Manan Trivedi (D-PA) for their willingness to prioritize, as part of their platforms, HAPAC’s objectives.

Where is the funding going to come from?
YOU and concerned community members like you. HAPAC needs 50 supporters to have its contribution cap lifted. Until then, HAPAC is limited in what it can do and how much it can donate. The maximum each individual can donate annually to HAPAC is $5,000 ($10,000 per married couple).

Your donation to HAPAC should not replace your donation to other Hindu groups. Consider it a complementary investment. We are asking you to contribute at least $200 to HAPAC, if contributing as in individual. If you and your spouse are contributing jointly, please consider contributors from both of you as you will each count as an individual donor. Of course, contributions of a larger amount will be extremely helpful. Corporations cannot contribute to the PAC.

The math is fairly straightforward -- if 100 people donate $1000 each, that $100,000 would allow us to give $10,000 to 10 candidates, or $5000 to 20 candidates. Now that’s impact!

Please send your check to: Hindu American PAC, P.O Box 65511, Washington, D.C. 20035 (for any donations over $200, the Federal Election Commission requires we collect employer and occupation information in addition to your name, phone number, and home and email addresses).

Sincerely,
The HAPAC Board

Jay Saxena (FL) Mihir Meghani M.D., Treasurer (CA)
Nikhil Joshi (FL) Rishi Bhutada, Chair (TX), Sheetal Shah (NY)
Sheetal Shah (IL)

PAC FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR POLITICAL PURPOSES. CONTRIBUTIONS CANNOT BE DEDUCTED AS A CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION FOR FEDERAL TAX PURPOSES.

CHINESE ADVICE TO 50-YEAR OLDS & OLDER
– GOOD ADVICE FOR ALL SENIORS.

www.guyaneseonline.wordpress.com

This is good advice, (translated from Chinese)
Read it all, take the advice, and hopefully you will be a happier person !

Because none of us have many years to live, and we can't take along anything when we go,so we don't have to be too thrifty...

Spend the money that should be spent, enjoy what should be enjoyed, donate what you are able to donate, but don't leave all to your children or grandchildren, for you don't want them to become parasites who are waiting for the day you will die!

Don't worry about what will happen after we are gone, because when we return to dust, we will feel nothing about praises or criticisms. The time to enjoy the worldly life and your hard earned wealth will be over!

Don't worry too much about your children, for children will have their own destiny and should find their own way. Don't be your children's slave. Care for them, love them, give them gifts but also enjoy your money while you can. Life should have more to it than working from the cradle to the grave!!

Don't expect too much from your children. Caring children, though caring, would be too busy with their jobs and commitments to render much help.

Uncaring children may fight over your assets even when you are still alive, and wish for your early demise so they can inherit your properties and wealth.

Your children take for granted that they are rightful heirs to your wealth; but that you have no claims to their money.

50-year old like you, don't trade in your health for wealth by working yourself to an early grave anymore... Because your money may not be able to buy your health...

When to stop making money, and how much is enough (hundred thousands, million, billion)?

Out of thousand hectares of good farm land, you can consume only three quarts (of rice) daily; out of a thousand mansions, you only need eight square meters of space to rest at night.

So, as long as you have enough food and enough money to spend, that is good enough. You should live happily. Every family has its own problems. Just do not compare with others for fame and social status and see whose children are doing better, etc., but challenge others for happiness, health, enjoyment, quality of life and longevity...

Don't worry about things that you can't change because it doesn't help and it may spoil your health.

You have to create your own well-being and find your own place of happiness. As long as you are in good mood and good health, think about happy things, do happy things daily and have fun in doing, then you will pass your time happily every day.

One day passes without happiness, you will lose one day.

One day passes with happiness, and then you gain one day.

In good spirit, sickness will cure; in a happy spirit, sickness will cure faster; in high and happy spirits; sickness will never come.

With good mood, suitable amount of exercise, always in the sun, variety of foods, reasonable amount of vitamin and mineral intake, hopefully you will live another 20 or 30 years of healthy life of pleasure. Above all, learn to cherish the goodness around... and FRIENDS... They all make you feel young and "wanted"... without them you surely feel lost!!

Wishing You All The Very Best.

INDIA'S INTERNAL & EXTERNAL POLICY

BHANO PADMO

We may have to review the vary basics of foreign policy in order to propose a new direction. First Principles of Nation*s Internal and External Policies. Coalescence and coagulation of own nationals would be the objective of a nation*s home policy. Multilateral interfacing and positive blending of own national with global nationals would be the objective of a nation*s foreign policy. Of course, this interfacing and blending of global nationals would be followed by coalescence and coagulation of the whole of mankind. This global coalescence and coagulation of humanity is then the common goal of home and foreign Policies of any nation, of all nations.

How does now home policy vary from foreign policy, essentially? Do they vary essentially, really? This basic concern would have to be resolved before we propose a new direction for a nation*s policies. Let*s return to the common absolute objective of coalescence and coagulation of people. Why is *integrated existence* of people deemed superior to their *insular existence*? This is explained by the following *square law* of social development. It is quite simple. A person in *insular existence* has a quantum of personal experience to serve as the basis of his/ her ensuing creativity. On the other hand, a person in *integrated/ composite/ social existence* comprising of two memberships shares two quanta of collective experience. The group of two thus integrally enjoys effectively four quantum of experience and creativity. In other words, the conglomerate of two persons (in integrated existence) would together achieve four units of progress when a person would achieve only one in insular existence.

Thus a person doubles own progress by joining with one more individual and triples the same in a group of three. It may be recalled that, going by the same argument as that of two-member society, the sum total of potential progress in a three-member society would be as much as nine, the square of membership count.

This *square law* (or rather, the *exponential law*) of social progress is the reason for and basis of the objective of regional integration both in internal (intra-nation) and external (inter-national/ global) arenas. This quantitative analysis and vindication of the objective of coalescence and coagulation of humanity proposes and promulgates *absolute consistency* between a nation*s home and foreign policies in terms of a common and commensurable modality that would strike a balance between regional integration and local latitude.

Let us shift the focus of our discussion to the modality of integration that would form the common backbone of both internal and external policies of a nation. The uniformity of application of this modality in both sectors would be the joint vindication of legitimacy of both foreign and home policies.

There are, broadly speaking, two modalities of regional integration with differing consequences in terms of local latitude (ascription of local freedom). The outcome of those differential modalities are respectively *centripetal amalgamation* and *centrifugal confederation*. In the former form of regional integration, the constituents are strongly centralized squeezing their local freedom. In the latter form, the constituents enjoy greater latitude.

If you have a close look at the square law of social progress, you will find that the law operates better with growing personal latitude that enables individual to exercise creative discretion over collective experience. The windfalls thereof would inspire the participants progressively invoking social solidarity. Just distribution of social gains would allay any fear of sedition. Thus a brave and magnanimous nation would go for *centrifugal confederation* type of regional integration maximizing local latitude under the sociological awareness depicted hereunder. And this absolute policy would apply uniformly across internal and external domains universally and eternally.

How do you actually assemble a *free centrifugal confederation*? You need here an absolute political theory that would promulgate true democracy to bring out the free confederate. The true democracy has been referred to as *civil democracy* elsewhere.

So far we have talked about *coalescence* of society, nation and humanity in terms of regional integration and free centrifugal confederation. What about the *coagulation* portion of integration of humanity? Coalescence of populace is geographical. Coagulation of populace is psycho-genetic. In the latter phase of human integration, the individuals influence and alter one another genetically through deep sociality and conjugality. All these concerns would form important themes of internal and external policies of a true democracy.

This cursory consideration of the basics of a nation*s internal and external policies should open up new windows to view the future. All national faculties from law-enforcement to diplomacy would thereafter witness an unprecedented consistency and experience an unforeseen progressive impulse.

Bangladeshis in India sent back $6.6 billion
last year —6% of their homeland’s GDP

By Diksha Madhok @dikshamadhok June 15, 2014

Working hard for the money—only to send it away. Reuters/Andrew Biraj.

Bangladesh receives nearly half of its total remittances from India.

Migrant workers from the impoverished South Asian country sent home $14 billion last year, according to the World Bank. Bangladeshi workers in India transferred more than $6.6 billion to their home country, making them the biggest source of remittances to Bangladesh. This is more than four times the money being sent from Saudi Arabia, the second-highest contributor.

Tap to expand image Bangladeshi workers overseas sent $14billion home India is a preferred destination among Bangladeshi migrants because of the low cost of migration. “Migrants can avoid securing a plethora of documents including issuance of passports if they migrate to India,” says a study published by the Asia Foundation in 2013.

A return bus ticket from Dhaka to Agartala costs $10.

Half a million visas While there aren’t recent data available on the total number of Bangladeshis staying in India, we do know that nearly 500,000 visas were issued in 2012-13.

LAND JIHAD IN BARDHAMAN, W. BENGAL :-
TAPAN GHOSH PERSONAL CHECKING

Yesterday I went to a remote village of Bardhaman dist. to see one instance of Land Jihad. The Hindus of Kuljora village under Monteswar block called me to their village to guide them how they can protect their village land which is used as their boys' play ground and cattle gazing field since 100 years.

Total area of the land is 8.48 acres. The whole land is owned by 4 Hindus whose families now live elsewhere. Of the whole land, BLRO documents are showing 2.75 acres of land as vested land, and 3.56 acres is described as Muslim Kabristhan, although owners are those 4 Hindus. Rest of the land is duly recorded in the name of the Hindus. On the field, there is no demarcation of the plots. However, in the West side of the land, Muslims use a part as their Kabristhan/Graveyard. In the East side of the land, Panchayat planted a few hundred trees about 10 years ago. On the rest of the land, village boys play football, cricket, etc. and village cattle gaze there.

On 29.05.14, suddenly some Muslims started to construct concrete pillars and a dom-type structure on that playground. They claims that the whole land is theirs and they are converting it into an Eidgah. When the Hindu villagers tried to intervene, they were threatened by the Muslims. Hindus as usual are scared. They are exploring options how they can protect this land peacefully. In matters of interest the Muslims show force and muscle-power and, the state administration colludes with them.

Appeasing the minority buys peace . So is the proliferation of such claims everywhere in West Bengal.

I went to the village yesterday and visited the ground. I saw all the papers. The Hindu villagers already submitted a mass petition to the BLRO, Monteswar. I advised them how to proceed and assured the helpless uneducated all possible help.

Worst part is the fact that all these acts of hooliganism, and brute force to usurp control by the minorities are censored by the Media . That enhances the game plan of the minority force.

Is a section of TN police blatantly anti-Hindu?

The Blatant anti-Hindu attitude of a section of TN police force created an ugly situation in Devipatinam of Ramanathapuram Distict where the Prantha Bitak of Dakshin Tamilnadu began on June 14. Evenwhile the 400 RSS Karyakarthas who attended the bitak were reciting sangh prarthana, they were arrested. There was no provocation at all. The police force which indulged in the unscenely act was led by DSP Annamalai.

The arrest was made when sangha prarthana was in progress. Among the arrested were All India Executive member Sethu Madhavan Ji, Kshetra Karyavah S.Rajendran Ji, Kshetra Pracharak Stanumalayan Ji, Kshetra Seva Pramuk PadmaKumar.etc. Later all the karyakarthas were released.

The news spread and in half a dozen districts across the state spontaneous demonstrations were held against the unprovoked arrest of RSS Karyakarthas. Over 1000 were arrested on the first day and were later released.

IN MAMATA'S BENGAL MUSLIMS IMPOSE DIKTATS BY FORCE A SANITY NOW IS SEEN

TAPAN GHOSH

Today Jun 12 at 101, Maniktala Main Road (near Kankurgachi), Kolkata - Muslims backtracked. They retreated from their decision to forcibly construct the boundary wall of the so called Moinuddin Mosque today. The changed political situation compelled them to retreat. Even one powerful Imam of Kolkata advised them not to proceed now.

Strong police force was deployed at the disputed site. I personally visited the place today morning, talked with police, and I have been informed that only 5 Muslims would be allowed to offer Friday Namaz there according to court order. However, the Muslims have backtracked only for the time being, the Hindus should be careful and vigilant if they want to protect their interest and existence from the aggression of Jihadi Muslims.

Modi is welcome to the United States

But the pro forma invitations to Mr Modi to visit Washington are really meaningless unless the issue of his lifetime ban on entry to the US as a private citizen is resolved.

Although no official announcement has been made by either side so far, it is learnt that Prime Minister Modi has accepted Obama’s invitation to visit Washington in September. While there is no doubt that India-US strategic relationship is important not only for the two countries but for international peace and security — both global and regional — it is worth examining whether the Indian Prime Minister should be the first to initiate a high-level visit from one country to the other. This issue is only in connection with the visit of the Indian PM to Washington; it does not in any manner stand in the way of bilateral talks between the Indian PM and the US President in New York at the time of UN meetings. Why should this be a factor in arranging bilateral visits?

This is in view of the intensely hostile attitude that the US — both the Executive and legislative branches — had taken against Mr Modi on grounds that he was guilty of “particularly severe violations of religious freedom” defined as
(a) torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment.
(b) prolonged detention without charges.
(c) causing the disappearance of persons by abduction or clandestine detention of those persons or
(d) other flagrant denial of the right to life, liberty, or the security of persons. Accordingly under the International Freedom of Religion Act (IRFA), passed in 1998, his existing visa was revoked in 2005 under Sec 212 (a)(2)(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) and he was barred for life from entering the US as a private citizen.

Although since 1998, the US had designated a number of countries as “Countries of Particular Concern (CPC)” i.e., countries/governments that have practiced “particularly severe violations of religious freedom” (China is one country that has been named as a CPC every year since the passage of the IRFA), Mr Modi remains the one and only person subjected to denial of visa for life under the provisions of the IRFA. Indeed during the 16 years since the Act was passed and in spite of a large number of countries having been designated as CPC and the IRFA legislation requiring the administration to identify the individuals responsible for such severe violations, Mr Modi has been the only person identified by the US government as being responsible for any such severe violation. The US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) laments regularly in its annual reports, “Despite these requirements (i.e., identification of persons responsible for violations), no individual officials from any CPC nation responsible for particularly severe religious freedom violations have been identified to date.”

In addition, several Congressional members, individually and collectively, had tabled strong anti-Modi resolutions between 2002 and as recently as October 2013. The US Administration had studiously avoided any contact with Mr Modi both at federal level and at the consular level in India. It is only after his victory in recent elections that various segments of the US Administration and legislature started making favourable comments about Mr Modi inviting him to the US but only as the PM of India with the lifetime ban on Mr Modi as a private individual still effective. Incidentally Mr Modi as the head of government does not require any invitation to visit the US for attending UN sessions.

While it is true that
Mr Modi himself does not hold any grudge against the US or has at any time expressed any strong desire to visit the US and has, in fact, been quite fair in treating US capital and industry in its endeavour to invest in Gujarat, in recent times the US Administration has been quite cavalier in its approach to India’s institutions. In case of Mr Modi, the US Administration trusted the motivated campaigns against Modi and found him guilty of severe violations of religious freedom even though all the cases, mostly fabricated, failed in Indian courts.

More recently, in the Devyani Khobragade case, the US Administration secretly spirited Indian nationals out of India purely on the individual allegations that they will be tortured, etc, if they were to stay in India.

So what is the way out?
For a starter, the pro forma invitations to Mr Modi to visit Washington are really meaningless unless the issue of Mr Modi’s lifetime ban on entry to the US as a private citizen is resolved. It is not really easy to conceive how a growing strategic partnership between India and the US can be sustained in any meaningful manner in the coming decade when (a) the security environment in Asia is likely to undergo major changes, (b) Mr Modi is guaranteed a decade of Indian leadership, if he fulfils even half of the expectations of the Indian electorate and (c) the US officially considers Mr Modi to be a major perpetrator of severe human and religious rights violations.

This can be done in two steps: First, by either (a) the US Attorney General, under Sec. 212(d)(3)(A) of INA, waiving the inadmissibility under 212(a)(2)(g) of INA, or (b) the US Congress passing a resolution waiving the inadmissibility. Secondly, by the visit of a high-level US political leadership, preferably the US Vice President, to India, which can be followed by Mr Modi’s visit to Washington. Neither of these would involve any major loss of face on either side.

Incidentally while one should be proud that Americans of Indian origin are playing increasingly important public roles in the US, some of irritants in Indo-US relations can be traced to these Americans of Indian origin. One is, of course, aware of the role that was played by one such person, Preet Bharara, the US Attorney for the southern district of New York in the recent Khobragade affair, which had affected and continues to affect India-US bilateral relations. Another such person was Preeta Bansal, who as the Chair of USCIRF recommended the US government to revoke Mr Modi’s visa in 2005, an action which has the potential to derail India-US strategic relations.

KNOW A MUSLIM AND HIS DUTIES TO
ISLAM CAPT (RETD) SACHIN KARMAKAR

President Obama's recent(14.6.2014) statement on Iraq unrest is the latest realization of USA after spending billions on war against terror. A snake will never become domestic even after years of nourishing & feeding, rather will bite its master on first opportunity. West defined Islam as moderate and radical. In reality its very difficult to find moderate Muslims in any part of the planet. Moderate Muslims are microscopic in number who don't have any influence over the large majority Muslim population. In past one decade USA has spent billions dollar for training Iraqi soldiers to fight radicals insurgents, but in crisis moment they didn't fire a bullet against their fellow Jihadist. In Islamic dogma Jihad is directed against non Muslim infidels only, killing of Muslims are forbidden in holy scripture. In Bangladesh when a non Muslim minor girl is abducted by a Muslim neighbor the local police usually don't find the accused ! because converting a non Muslim by any means of action is encouraged in a Muslim society.

President Obama might have realized the double-edge of Arab dogma and may consider different approach to combat radical Islam ! In fact Radical Islam may one day destroy entire human civilization and proceed for planet destruction as described in holy scripture as last day of planet ( ROJ- KAYAMAT).

Bangladesh Takes Center Stage on Capitol Hill as
HAF Marks 11th Annual D.C. Advocacy Days

Rep. Gabbard receiving HAF's Pride of the
Community Award from Rishi Bhutada, Board member

Washington, D.C. (June 11, 2014) --The plight of religious minorities in Bangladesh took center stage on Capitol Hill yesterday, as the Hindu American Foundation (HAF) marked its 11th Annual D.C. Advocacy Days. Hindu American delegates from around the country met with nearly 80 Congressional offices, asking them to support a bipartisan Congressional letter, spearheaded by Representatives Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Aaron Schock (R-IL), that urges U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to make human rights and the protection of minorities in Bangladesh a priority in U.S. - Bangladesh relations.

"Promoting a stable and democratic Bangladesh is important to U.S. economic, political and security interests in the South Asia region," wrote Reps. Gabbard and Schock in a message circulated to their colleagues earlier today. "Under domestic law, the Bangladesh government is obliged to enforce minority land rights, provide restitution for illegally seized land, and protect religious and ethnic minorities against violence and discrimination. To date, the Bangladesh government has taken no significant steps to compensate individuals, primarily Hindus, who lost their land under the 1974 Vested Property Act. Moreover, the Chittagong Hill Tracts Land Dispute Resolution Commission has been largely ineffective, thereby denying fundamental rights to indigenous people in that region."

Beyond Bangladesh, HAF's delegation advocated for a range of foreign and domestic policy issues of importance to the Hindu American community, including strengthening U.S. - India ties, the confirmation of Vivek Murthy as the U.S. Surgeon General, and the Freedom of Faith Act (H.R. 4460) which permanently reauthorizes the special immigrant provision for non-minister religious workers.

"The breadth of HAF's policy initiatives demonstrates the growing prominence of a Hindu American voice in all realms of U.S. policy," said Harsh Voruganti, Esq., HAF's Associate Director for Public Policy. "From Capitol Hill, to strategic meetings with foreign embassies, the U.S. Department of State, and influential think tanks, HAF is playing a leading role in addressing a number of critical domestic and foreign policy issues facing our country."

The day's meetings culminated in an evening gala reception attended by more than 200 people, including Members of Congress, Congressional staffers, interfaith and religious freedom advocates, and leaders of the Hindu American community.

Congressmen Ed Royce (R-CA), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) and member of the Congressional India Caucus, was honored at the Capitol Hill reception with HAF's Friend of the Community Award for consistently calling attention to the plight of Bangladeshi Hindus and for his work in strengthening relations between the U.S. and India.

Rep. Sherman with HAF leadership

Congressman Brad Sherman (D-CA), a senior member of HFAC and the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on International Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade, was similarly awarded with the HAF Friend of the Community Award for promoting awareness of human rights violations against religious and ethnic minorities in Pakistan and Bangladesh.

HAF further recognized Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI), member of HFAC and the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, with the Pride of the Community award for inspiring young Hindus as the first Hindu American elected to Congress.

Among the evening's other awardees, were Dr. DC Rao, Board Member of the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington, who received HAF's Dharma Seva Award, and Steve Spritzer, Director of Programs at the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion, with HAF Mahatma Gandhi Award for the Advancement of Religious Pluralism.

Finally, HAF's Award for the Advancement of the Dharmic Arts and Humanities went to Manjari Sharma, an internationally acclaimed artist, who has educated the public about Hindu beliefs through her most recent project, Darshan, on Hindu Gods and Goddesses.

How do we get this to attention of Narendra Bhai Cabinet?

There is more insidious than the FOLLOWING article says here, the purposeful impoverization of Hindus has roots in conversion? .....the whole game plan of conversions and vote banks is a tight knit game played by Catholic Sonia with the collusion of 4 Ms, Missionaries, Mullahs , Media (psudeo secularists) and MM Singh. But even all these are pawns used by bigger players, the Western business conglomerate with active participation of their Governments who use these as tools to grab resources of other countries. As they say, history repeats itself, at most it changes forms.

The Majority Report: Sordid story of robbing crores of poorest Hindus of scholarships and loans -- Ram K. Ohri

An Overview of the book, The Majority Report (9 June 2014)

SORDID STORY OF ROBBING CRORES OF POOREST HINDUS OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND LOANS

The Majority Report is a research study undertaken by two retired IPS officers highlighting the gross discrimination practiced by the UPA government against crores of poorest children of the majority community, namely the Hindus. Will it shock you, dear friends,if we were to inform you that in four out of the five globally recognized major human development indices the Hindus happen to be the most disadvantaged and the poorest religious group in India?

Not many people know that by using the flawed and fabricated findings of Sachar Committee, the former Minister for Minorities Affairs, Shri Salman Khurshid, acting in collusion with the former Prime Minister, robbed the unwashed and unlettered daughters and sons of nearly 34 crore Hindus living below the poverty line, mostly in rural areas. The High Level Committee chaired by Justice Sachar was born in sin of grave constitutional impropriety. The task assigned to Justice Sachar had been entrusted in 1992 by the Indian Parliament to the National Minorities Commission by enacting a special law called The Minorities Commission Act, 1992. All responsibilities for protection of the rights of minorities and ensuring their welfare had been assigned by the Parliament in terms of the aforesaid legislation to the Minorities Commission. Therefore the very act of the Prime Minister constituting a High Level Committee in March 2005, by an executive fiat for one single religious minority was patently unconstitutional and bad in law. The worst aspect of the sinister move, however, was that Justice Sachar did not inform the P.M. that what was being was a blatant violaton of the Constitution. In appointing Sachar Committee the former P.M. also violated the oath of his office.

For decades an unsubstantiated belief has been propagated across the country that economically and educationally the Muslims are themore disadvantaged than the Hindus. This falsehood is being unabashedly used by the powerful pro-Muslim votebank lobby to bestow many unmerited benefits and concessions, including nearly twenty million scholarships and concessional educational loans exclusively on the Muslims, Christians and three other minorities. But it was revealed by Salman Khurshid’s Press Conference on May 29, 2012, that not one single scholarship was given to the daughter or son of the poorest Hindu. Nor were any cheaper educational or entrepreneurial loans advanced to any Hindu poor, while funds worth several lakh crores were advanced to the children of doubly blessed five minorities, namely the Muslims, the Christians, the Buddhits, the Parsis and the Sikhs.

This strategy of religion-based discrimination was implemented in pursuance of the communally divisive votebank policy enunciated in the Prime Minister’s notoriously famous “Muslims First” policy statement made on December 9, 2006, by the Prime Minister. Inexplicably the aforesaid policy statement was made by Dr. Manmohan Singh on the birthday of Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance. Perhaps thereby hangs a tale of deceit.

The worst aspect of the ongoing discrimination is that crores of poor Hindus belonging to the perennially famished hoi polloi of rural India have been deliberately deprived of any share in the 20 million scholarships awarded to the five minorities, including four economically and educationally better placed communities than the Hindus. These four super-privileged minorities are the Christians, the Parsis, the Buddhists and the Sikhs all of whom happen to be show stealers in literacy average, economic prosperity and education.

The data pertaining to infant and child mortality, degree of urbanization and life expectancy at birth available in public domain proves that it is the Hindus, not the Muslims, who are the most disadvantaged religious group. Following are the five major globally recognized human development indicators :

  • i) Infant Mortality.
  • ii) Child Mortality.
  • iii) Life Expectancy at Birth.
  • iv) Degree of Urbanisation.
  • v) Literacy.

It was established by the National Family Health Survey -2 of 1998-99 that the Hindus are far behind the Muslims in the first four human development indices, excepting literacy in which Hindus with 65.1 percent literacy are marginally ahead of Muslims who have the literacy average of 59.1 percent. But Justice Sachar did not have the moral courage to identify and write that one single factor responsible for lower Muslim literacy average was the lower ratio of literacy among Muslim women at a meagre 50.1 percent. It was lower by 3.6 percent than the national average of female literacy at 53.7. Thus, this important cause of lower female literacy among Muslims ignored by Justice Sachar was the diktats of religious leaders restricting education of girls beyond a certain age and insistence on the customary veil.

Unfortunately most Hindus, including their spiritual gurus, telemedia analysts, self-anointed intellectuals and political leaders belong to the prosperous fraternity and well-to-do middle class. Their children do not need free scholarships. No wonder they have thus remained indifferent to the pathetic economic condition of the poorest Hindu masses, especially those trapped in the terminally ill rural areas ? These busy-bodies strutting across the political and spiritual universe have never cared to know that in four, out of the five globally recognised human development indices, the majority community is lagging behind the Muslims, the Christians, the Buddhists, the Parsis and the Sikhs ? That explains how the children of 34-35 crore poorest Hindus were led to slaughter on the alter of Sachar Report! The daughters and sons of nearly 340 million poorest Hindus were robbed in broad daylight of their rightful share in 20 million scholarships by the ruling politicians in an ugly bid to promote the ‘exclusive development’ of five minority communities. And lo and behold this deprivation of the poorest Hindu children was done in the garb of ‘inclusive development’ !

The ongoing discriminatory policy against the majority religious group, mostly the rural Hindus, was launched by the Prime Minister with great fanfare in June, 2006, in the garb of Prime Minister’s New 15 Points Programme for Welfare of Minorities. Through a sleight of hand the poorest Hindu children were deprived of any share in twenty million scholarships showered on Muslim, Christians, Buddhists, Parsis and the Sikhs.

The most shocking aspect of this biggest post-independence scam is that the Christians, Buddhists, Parsis and the Sikhs are the real show-stealers in literacy and education - way ahead of he Hindus.

A careful examination of Sachar Report reveals a series of ugly tricks devised to trample upon the Right to Equality of the eighty percent citizens of India on the ground of religion. Apparently the poorest students belonging to the majority community are being denied proportionate share in millions of scholarships and financial largesse worth thousands of crores because they happen to belong to the politically-pariahed religious group, the Hindus.

No Hindu or non-Hindu political leader showed the guts to question this implementation of ‘exclusive minority development’ programme tom-tomed as ‘inclusive growth’. Enumerated below are two prominent instances of fudging of facts by Justice Sachar in his report.

  1. Justice Sachar deliberately refused to consider the documented fact that according to the National Family Health Surveys Nos. 1 (1992-93) and 2 (1998-1999) the Muslims were better placed than Hindus in four major human development indicators, namely the Infant Mortality, Child Mortality, degree of Urbanisatioin and Life Expectancy at Birth. After admitting this important fact on pages 37-38 of his report that in infant and child mortality and life expectancy at birth the Muslims were better placed, Justice Sachar took recourse to suppressio veri, suggestio fallaci, by attributing it to the highly inventive argument that it could be due to better child feeding practices prevalent among Muslims. Instead of candidly admitting that the Muslims were better fed and had access to better medical care the retired Chief Justice decided to weave the yarn of ‘better child feeding’ practices among Muslims. Could there be a worse example of falsification of the data available in public domain?
  2. Another instance of suppressio veri, suggestio falsi is the horrid description of the plight of Muslim women on page 13 (Chapter 2) which was false beyond belief. Astoundingly the retired Chief Justice Sachar wrote about the plight of Muslim women thus :

“Everything beyond the walls of the ghetto is seen as unsafe and
hostile - markets, roads, lanes and public transport, schools and
hospitals, Police Stations and government offices.”

Can any Indian honestly believe that the Muslim women are treated so shabbily in India ? Many more instances of fudging of facts can be cited from the report of Justice Sachar. These are being left out because of shortage of space.

To sum up, a systematic and rational analysis of the comparative scores of the Hindus and the Muslims in various human development indices reveals that in the first four globally recognised economic development indicators the Hindus are lagging far behind the Muslims and four other religious minorities, namely the Christians, the Buddhists, the Parsis and the Sikhs. This truth was established four times by four different studies, though Justice Sachar ignored the documented truth for reasons best known to him.

The first well-documented rebuttal of the flawed findings of Justice Sachar came on September 2, 2006, when a paper was circulated by Prof. Sanjay Kumar of the Centre of Studies for Developing Studies, New Delhi, in a seminar organized at the prestigious Indian Institute of Public Administration. The research of Prof. Sanjay Kumar presented in a packed hall of distinguished scholars in the auditorium of the I.I.P.A. revealed that there was highly any difference in the economic and educational status of the Hindus and the Muslims.

The in-depth research based on a survey by the Centre for Developing Societies, New Delhi, further highlighted that the proportion of ‘the very poor’ Indians was higher among the Hindus than among the Muslims. The survey conducted in the year 2004 showed that the percentage of ‘very poor’ Hindus was 31 percent while the percentage of the ‘ very poor’ among Muslims was only 24 percent. Thus, on the basis of the CDS survey the percentage of the ‘very poor’ people among the Hindus was nearly 25 percent higher than among the Muslims ! It was a very significant finding of Prof. Sanjay Kumar, based on a survey comprising 27,000 random samples.

Mysteriously this important finding was ignored by Justice Sachar despite a clear directive in the Prime Minister’s Notification dated March 9, 2005. to Justice Sachar’s High Level Committee to “obtain relevant information from Departments/ agencies of the Central & State Governments and also conduct an intensive literature survey to identify the published data, articles, and research on relative social, economic and educational status of Muslims in India at the State, regional and district levels” to address the problems faced by Muslims. More importantly, Prof. Sanjay Kumar’s research paper highlighting his important findings was duly sent to Justice Sachar by our Thinktank, Patriots’ Forum’. But the former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court chose to ignore the truth altogether for reasons best known to him and his team mates.

The second rebuttal of Justice Sachar’s fabricated findings came in October, 2010, when the National Health Survey- 3 (2005-2006) revealed a high quantum jump of 5.4 years from 62.6 years in the life expectancy of Muslims within a short span of 7 years, i.e., between 1998 and 2005. The advantage which Muslims had over their Hindu counterparts in life expectancy at birth was barely 1.2 years in 1998-1999, but it grew to 3 years in 2005-2006, as revealed by the National Family Health Survey -3.

And the master mystery of all mysteries was that the results of the National Family Health Survey of 2005-2006 were released in October, 2010 – i.e. after a long delay of 4 years ! It needs to be investigated why in this age of super technology the findings of NFHS Survey-3 conducted in 2005-2006 were not made public. This inordinate delay was responsible for facilitating implementation of Sachar Committee’s recommendations favouring the Muslim community. The discriminatory largesse of 20 million scholarships and cheaper educational and entrepreneurial loans of several lakh crore rupees was showered on Muslims, along with 4 minorities in gross violation of the Right to Equality enshrined in the Constitution.

The third rebuttal of Justice Sachar’s fudged facts was made public in the findings of Rajesh Shukla, a Senior Fellow of the National Council of Applied Economic Research published in the EconomicTimes, New Delhi, on April 5, 2007, re-confirming that there was hardly any difference in the economic status of the Hindus and Muslims. Among other things Rajesh Shukla’s survey disclosed that the Sikh community were ‘the Sardars in Prosperity’, with Christians closely following behind them.

The fourth rebuttal of Justice Sachar’s findings came on February 24, 2011, in the reply to a Parliament Question answered by Vincent H. Pala, the Minister of State for Minorities in Lok Sabha admitting that the central government had no data pertaining to the number of persons living below the poverty line according to religious denominations. If as late as the year 2011 the government had no data about the number of Muslims and Hindus living below the poverty line, why were the fudged findings of Justice Sachar accepted and implemented several years ago ?

The fifth demolition of the lies propagated by Sachar Committee came on October 24-25, 2011, when in a Seminar jointly organized by the United Nations Development Programme and India’s Planning Commission at Claridge’s Hotel, two scholars of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (Sukhdeo Thorat and Amaresh Pandey) presented a research paper re-confirming that there had been far greater poverty reduction among the Muslims than among the Hindus between 2004-2005 to 2009-2010.

Despite these five research-based rebuttals of Sachar Report the multi- dimensional discrimination against the unwashed daughters and sons of the poorest Hindus, living below the poverty line has continued at fast pace - perhaps in deference to the policy announcement made by the Prime Minister in December, 2006, on Sonia Gandhi’s birthday.

It is, however, for the self-anointed Hindu secularists to analyse and explain why no poorest of the poor Hindu child was considered eligible for even one single scholarship out of twenty million freeships showered by Salman Khurshid on the privileged children of Muslim and Christian parents. According to a half page advertisement published in The Pioneer, New Delhi, on February 15, 2014, “over Rs. 1,95,000 crore of bank credit was showered on 5 minorities”. In sharp contrast, not one rupee worth bank credit was made available to anyone of the 35 crores Hindus living below the poverty line.

Most importantly, Prof. Suresh Tendulkar’s research had revealed that in 2009 approximately 37.2 percent Indians were living below the poverty line. It meant that roughly the unwashed children of 34-35 crore Hindu les miserables were debarred from applying for scholarships and educational loans in an unethical bid to consolidate a votebank of five minorities. Such a policy of robbing the poorest on the ground of religion by recourse to a sleight of hand has no parallel in the history of any democratic country. Only a legal eagle like Salman Khurshid, aided by Justice Sachar, could do it with remarkable dexterity and finesse !

Now time has come for Shri Salman Khurshid and the former Prime minister to explain to 34 crore poor Hindus living below the poverty line, mostly in rural areas, why their hungry, emaciated and unlettered children were robbed of the rightful share in 20 million scholarships and educational loans totaling several lakh crore rupees ?

Time has also come for the unlettered masses to seek identification of those public figures and government functionarie for deliberately cheating the poorest citizens of their right to equality.

NEED TO UNDERSTAND SECULARISM

Secularism, as originally conceived, embodies basic principles that implement and nurture universal values. Thereby, it fosters a state that is harmonious and, in harmony with the Lord. However, one may know or is taught that the Lord and ethical behaviour are inextricable. The essence of such behaviour is captured in a single guideline that is found in all religions—the ethic of reciprocity. Popularly known as the golden rule, it mandates, “Do to others as you would want them to do to you.” This maxim that guided humans throughout history is traceable to ancient religious traditions all over the world. It is so pervasive because it is based on a special human endowment, empathy. Empathy is the capacity to sense the pain of another being and act appropriately. And the extent to which this empathy is honed is a mark of one’s evolution as a human being seeking harmony with the Lord.

The principle of reciprocity based on empathy is the key component of a secular state—all citizens are equal, including before the law. Nothing helps to bring about the stability, growth and unity of a nation more than the implementation of this single idea. It instils in each and every individual a basic sense of security and confidence that there is order, justice in this world. You can go ahead; the laws will protect you and guide you. Equality also extends to religion. Each individual in a secular state is granted freedom to practise his or her religion. Though the Constitution now mandates so, it was originally part of the fabric of this country. The proximity of religious structures of different traditions, such as the Ellora caves, the long history of vigorous, public debate of different views, the Ashoka edicts, and the religiously persecuted communities who found refuge in India all testify to this.

This two-fold promise of secularism—equal citizenship and religious freedom for all—depends on the fulfilment of a condition that is the most defining feature of secularism. The separation of the sphere of influence and operation of the state and religion, which means there is neither interference of the state in religious matters, nor the influence of religion in the affairs of state. The prohibition of religious interference in matters of state is a corollary of equality before the law and equal citizenship. If separation of faith from state is not achieved, it will be impossible to avoid state interference in religion, inevitably violating the religious freedom of individuals and groups. And there will also inevitably be discrimination by the state against the individual’s rights and privileges as a citizen. The result can only be a discordant, fragmented nation, or nations. If there is to be real equality, one group cannot be privileged over another by the state.

The Constitution ensures this required separation by the prohibition of religious instruction in state schools, and of taxes to support any particular religion. But it also mandates to ensure religious freedom breaks down in the constitutional sanction for state interference in religious affairs. The trouble is the unequal application of this sanction. This sanction is used for state administration of temples and maths, state appropriation of temple land and donations, even legislation of who should be admitted into the temples. On the other hand, in dealing with minority religions, there are political constraints, which restrict the interference. But in respect of the majority, there is no political constraint. As a result, the state has taken over places of worship and collection of revenue from offerings of the majority religion, but not others. Moreover, such revenue can be redistributed for other purposes, including maintenance of institutions of other religions, even those which are opposed to the majority religion. It has also led to the discriminatory modification of personal religious laws. The religious laws of some minority religions supersede parliamentary laws, while for the majority religion, parliamentary law has been enacted to supersede religious laws. This unequal treatment of religions by the state has created legitimate grounds for discord. And different civil or criminal laws for different groups, religious or otherwise, is the antithesis of secularism. If secularism is the aim, it is, therefore, necessary to find an alternative to the current relationship between state and religion. And whether it is called secularism or something else, such change is necessary if there is to be unity, and at the same time, religious freedom in this country.

Non-interference of state in religious affairs is sound, as it recognises an important fact of human existence. Though universal values, which form the basis for equality before law, are connected to religion, there is another dimension of the religious life of a human being, so intimate, so sacred, that interference of any kind, by the state or other faiths, is experienced as violence. This consists in one’s understanding of and relationship to the Lord. It is here that protection is required. It is the state’s responsibility to ensure no individual or group, including the state, interferes in religious expression of another group, by conversion or otherwise. To do so is to violate sacred space, individual and collective, and sow the seeds for dissent and fragmentation. If national unity and harmony are to be secured, the jurisdiction of the state has to be limited to framing and enforcing criminal and civil laws. Conventions, religious or otherwise, are outside its scope, unless they transgress the criminal and civil laws. Because of this, framing the laws is a matter of great responsibility and complexity in a religiously and culturally diverse society. There are unique realities in any society. India is no exception. The issue, for a governing body, is being in touch with all those realities and responding appropriately. This is sane. What is sanity but being in touch with reality? If we are to function as a homeland for every Indian citizen, and as a contributor in a global era, we must be sane. And to be sane, we must be united and fair. We cannot afford to marginalise or privilege any group, religious or otherwise. If sanity is being in touch with reality, our religious traditions have something more to say about this. In all traditions, that reality is the Lord, and the ethical laws are intrinsic. Thus, the more ethical one is, the more one is in touch with the sacred reality, and, whether as an individual or a nation, the more sane one is—free of conflict, productive, in harmony with the universal order. This is our heritage. Together we can claim this heritage. It is our duty to do so—our duty to our ancestors, to our neighbours, local and global, our children and their children, and to our own integrity.

THIS WEEKS MUST READ
HRD alone controls the following well funded institutions where anti-Hindu scholars thrive and from where they project influence far and wide:

  • Indian Council of Social Sciences Research. The entire Council and various Committees are filled/dominated by secular and pseudo-sec leaders, right from the chairman down. They research by targeting Hinduism to explain human rights abuses, women abuses, child abuse, minority abuse, promoting Dalitism, pseudo-secularism, fragmentation, breaking India elements, etc. They run powerful journals, conferences, select/influence PhD dissertation themes, funding of scholars, international travel to make their team into big shots, get them awards like Padam Shree and Padam Bhushan, etc. Hence the brand building of those on their ideology.
  • Indian Council of Historical Research. Apex funding agency for research on Indian history. This is where Romila Thapar, Irfan Habib types got bred and nurtured, boosted into international stars each with his own parampara.
  • NCERT: The junior level of textbook writing. There are many Hindus who are only targeting this (naively) but unless the rest of the mechanisms are dismantled any change in textbooks will be temporary at best.
  • Many other organizations like Indian council of philosophical research, societies that govern research on psychology, human rights, womens issues, etc.

Other govt supported intellectual nexuses include:
  • ICCR (run by Karan Singh), gave away 1000s of crores to set up India studies chairs in 100+ locations worldwide. Gave the plum jobs to secularists, anti-Hindus, dalitists, Islamists, and other cronies of the old regime. This was the equivalent of getting an ambassador posting for a scholar of the humanities/social sciences. Some like the famous chair in oxford cost as much as $5 million each. Nehru centers worldwide and similar institutions are run by this org in delhi. I also knew the prior head Pawan Varma (who released BEING DIFFERENT but later joined some regional party...). I know ICCR very well and have studied for 15 years what they funded, implications, politics etc.
  • Archeological Survey of India. Tragic agreement with USA to allow them to infiltrate Indian archeological discoveries just as the USA has done for Pakistan. Ironically the door got finally opened for the USA at Baroda Univ in Gujarat during Modi's tenure. I posted a lot on this in the past and Dilip Chakrabarti of Cambridge wrote petitions complaining but never got any response. Many issues exist - why no public disclosure of findings at Qutab Minar, basement of Taj Mahal, Dwarka submarine/underwater excavations, etc...?

There are numerous other govt bodies like so-called Minorities Commission full of such notorious scholars.

I could go on but here just want to give a glimpse of the scale of the problem. If govt asked me for a comprehensive paper I could do it but dont want to waste time just restating what I wrote many times before.

There are major universities where Vice Chancellors need to be replaced. You expect a place like BHU to be very Hindu, but Infinity Foundation has had official dealings with BHU and held many events for my work. The profs tell me that since the present VC came, they squeezed anything sounding too Hindu, and now they cannot risk being branded "saffron". You can imagine what its like in other universities. bOTTOM LINE: Stop naming JNU as the only one place with this problem. Those who write JNU as the problem are persons who are 20 years obsolete. The same problem is true of Delhi Univ, Kolkatta Univ, Jamia Milia, and 100s of other places. Localizing the problem trivializes it. Know the data and then do a diagnostic properly. It will take 500 VC and top level (Provost, Dean, dept chairs) appointments to clean this snake pit of academic Hinduphobia.

Then there are 100+ major NGOs that require their top level trustees/management committees replaced.

In total the MINIMUM requirement for new scholars/intellectual appointments to get rid of Hinduphobia (not counting the media and other institutions here) is between 2,000 and 4,000 persons.

Where will these scholars come from?

Has anyone done global thinking of this problem with rigor, competence, backup? (I have been doing my own tracking of conceptual issues and my database of people who ought to be blacklisted is 700+ and there are many more to add. So far I shared this only with one man who promised to get it to the right place - lets see.)

My concern is that new folks will get appointed just to get friends/family of the new power structure inside the door. This will backfire just as it did in NDA-1 when not a single change they brought was sustained after NDA-1 fell. Part of the reason was that many mediocre people got appointed.

QUESTION: Do you want to serve Hindu dharma or a particular political institution? Big difference in how you make decisions. While its great that a cancerous party got defeated, it must (1) get removed completely, and (2) replaced bycompetent persons and not one set of cronies replaced by another set of cronies.

Even more important than replacing persons is replacing the discourse/intellectual lens:

  • What is the content of the message that must get removed and whats the new content? This does not get developed overnight. Have the govt done this? Are there position papers for the Hindu public to review and comment?
  • What I read in various Hindu celebrations shows lack of this understanding.
  • I see too much emphasis on asking for change of mere symbolism. Thats easy to do and will make many uninformed people happy; but its superficial and will NOT change the deep intellectual structures in the mindset.
  • Institutional mechanisms must change and not just personalities.

I dont want to stick my nose in other people's affairs, but want to express the state of affairs that needs to be faced squarely. This is a mammoth task and I wish the government the very best. We Hindus are counting on them to deliver. This opportunity came after lots of sacrifice by many people, and we cannot afford to miss the window of opportunity that might not come again if we fail this time. The risk now is that those in power might chase symbolic victories that have limited benefit and can get easily reversed later when the pendulum moves again.

regards,
rajiv

On 4th of June,2014 at about 8 a.m to 9 a.m. a groups of Muslim perpetrators armed with sharp weapons, Iron Rod, Lathi, and country made gun attacked Minority Hindus located at Fatehabad village within Municipal area of Comilla district.

Bangladesh minority watch (BDMW) immediately communicated with S.P.

Comilla and Officer in charge of Debidwar police station who confirmed that two perpetrators have been arrested in this connection.

It is also alleged that 25 - 30 Muslim Perpetrators attacked on Hindu Minorities physically because they protested illegal activities particularly the regular harassment of Hindu girls .

They also became angry because they were prohibited from doing very offensive illegal activities beside the Hindu temple - "Lokanath Brammachari Temple". On the date of event they attacked on the Hindu houses and the guests of the said temple. While those victims were sleeping at their houses at night, even on the next day at 8.30 A.M they have beaten Shajal Dutta(50) while he was going to shop at the nearest market.

BDMW have decided to investigate the incident at the spot soon. It is also unfortunate that recently at Homna Upazila, Comilla District 35 houses of Hindu Community were attacked and looted on the excuse of blasphemy. Recently BDMW and BCHRD submitted a writ petition before High Court on May 12. Following the writ petition, the High Court ordered the government to provide protection to Hindu minorities and their households in Comilla, but it is unfortunate that the government totally failed to protect the Minority communities at Debidwar Upazila, Comill District despite High court order is in existence.

BDMW is very much concerned with the repeated attack on Hindu Minorities at Comilla. BDMW demand a immediate drastic action against the perpetrators responsible for eve teasing, attack on Women and Children, injuring inmates of the houses and they should be brought to book as per law.

With Best Regards

Did India waste decades to adopt
Bangladesh success policy?

Sachin Karmakar

What Bangladesh thinks to-day India thinks to-morrow !

Arabs as rulers are far better than Indians, and their descendants/ followers are far more wily than their predecessors. Shivaji led India with courage and wisdom in past several hundred years and that is like exception.. All other succumbed to Arab sword without a resistance. Now is it not the time for Indians to learn from its neighbor Pakistan and Bangladesh?

Bangladesh people have become too concerned about recent BJP’s success in the parliament election and they have also become worried about the security of Muslims in India. Every TV talk show comes out with a conclusion of radical rise in Indian politics. Majority Muslims in Bangladesh considers India a radical communal country. After recent election many Bangladeshi considers BJP a threat for Indian Muslims, they think Hindus enjoy more privilege and rights in Bangladesh . Whereas in reality the Hindus in Bangladesh can not even dare to protest a rape , gang rape , abduction or uprooting or murders. Even filing charge to police station brings retribution. Most Bangladeshi thinks it’s a very moderate Muslim country. If India pursued the same minority policy of Bangladesh they could have reduced the number of Muslims by 50% in past four decades .The world do not even know that the minority Muslims rule India by . Diktat. They stall the city whenever they want without anyone ever raising the issue. They do so routinely at any pretext to show their might , Hindus in Bangladesh cannot even think that in their nightmares.

What will happen if India introduces Hindu as state religion like Bangladesh to claim a moderate Hindu country? If Indian Hindus did not worry about Hindus in Bangladesh ,why than Bangladeshis will be concerned about Indian Muslims? India will never have the courage to declare Hindu as state religion like its neighbors declaring Islam as state religion. By continuous persecution , overlooked by India and the world , the Hindu population in Bangladesh has been reduced to half in just forty years. Many fear that in the so-called moderate Muslim country the rest half of the Hindus would also vanish in time. Islam does no’t accommodate non Muslims in country like Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Pakistan .

Bangladesh obviously little better than those . They are cleansing Hindus at a slow pace. Thanks to moderate Muslim country. Bangladesh for such generosity of slow elimination towards non Muslims?

India might pursue Bangladesh success story of Chittagong hill tracks in their troubled Kashmir? BJP may plan to put two million Hindu settlers in Kashmir to make it a Hindu majority state like Chittagong Hill Tracks and may proceed with referendum. Article 391 of Indian constitution is self contradicting for Indian integrity; there can’t be two different laws in one country? It’s a bobby trap for disintegration. There is no possibility of introducing an enemy property act against its Muslim population in India like its neighbor Bangladesh.

Indians Muslims will enjoy more security under BJP government than congress government, because BJP is government of majority nationalist Hindus. But not like its predecessor minority Christian congress government. Congress was weak a government of minority Sheikhs and Christians.

On Saturday, as President Barack Obama announced he had set free five of the world’s most radical Islamic terrorists in exchange for U.S. Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, it occurred to me why America has lost so much respect from its allies and enemies.

I was reminded of the opening sequence of the TV series, The Newsroom, where Will McAvoy, a news anchor played by Jeff Daniels, delivers a three-and-a-half minute rant that best summarizes the condition of the U.S.A. under Obama.

When a dim-witted questioner asks a media panel, “Can you say why America is the greatest country in the world?” McAvoy snaps at her:

“Hey, you sorority girl … there is no evidence that America is the greatest country in the world.”

The frustrated fictional TV anchor goes on to deliver a stunning indictment of America. “We’re seventh in literacy, twenty-seventh in math, twenty-second in science, forty-ninth in life expectancy …”

Daniels’ character says there was a time when America was a beacon of hope, liberty and accomplishment, but, “We were able to be all these things and do all these things because we were informed. By great men, men who were revered”, referring in part to legendary journalists such as television’s Walter Cronkite and print’s H. L. Mencken.

Since Obama’s Rose Garden ceremony, it’s this last line from The Newsroom that has haunted me, as I see journalism moving from the demand for truthful answers to the desire to conform.

While there’s been lots of discussion on the merits of the prisoner exchange, something else happened Saturday that no journalist apparently wishes to touch.

As far as I can tell, not a single newspaper in America, Canada or anywhere else reported that Bowe Bergdahl’s father, Robert, began his speech with the opening words of the Qur’an.

“I begin in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful,” he said.

As a Muslim, I was pleased. After all, there is always room for one more pony-tailed, ZZ Top lookalike in the “Ummah”.

Bowe’s father has not responded to my email queries on whether he has converted to Islam.

Curious about my possible co-religionist, I looked up Robert Bergdahl’s Twitter feed and discovered he appears to have been propagating views similar to the Taliban and al-Qaida for some time, even after the release of his son.

In one tweet, he tells Abdulqahar Balkhi of the “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan,” (the Taliban government in exile): “I am still working to free all of Guantanamo prisoners. God will repay the death of every Afghan child, amen!”

That tweet disappeared after I had asked Bergdahl senior for an explanation.

In another message he tweets, “Democracy” is a cult in the West. I think most Afghans see law in terms of sharia, not secular democracy, man-centric laws.”

These apparently weren’t messages meant to mollify the Taliban into releasing his son.

Soon after his White House appearance, Bergdahl senior was back lobbying for the release of some of the terrorists held in Gitmo.

He tweeted: “Ten years in Guantanamo: Tunisian families hope for loved ones.”

As for his son, not only are there reports from some of his fellow soldiers that he walked over to the Taliban side years ago, but also that he has converted to Islam and was teaching the Taliban bomb-making skills he had learned in the army.

God Bless America!

A RIDDLE FOR MODI - VISITING USA

D SATYA

There are many articles that Narendra bhai was invited by Obama and he is planning to make a trip to US in Sept this year. The articles quote Narendra Bhai statement that he will not put personal against national interests.

Is it true that US denial of visa to Modi a personal matter? We are living in fools paradise if we think so. It is a calculated and cold long term strategy to see a weak India, to deny the county a leader who could make the nation strong, and is rooted in racist and colonial mindset. Human rights is only a tool as is seen the racist USCIRF reports come directly from US embassies as if this morons are great police of human rights around the world.

Wikileaks show how US Government paid several NGOs such as that of Teesta (right from Hillary Clinton cronies). Their continued lies for nearly a decade is an affront to 50 million people from across all religions who voted Modi as their leader three times, it is an insult to Indian judicial system and institutions.

Those in media who are professing that Modi should visit are mainly the same people until recently put Modi down with every possible lie by working in tandem with US and they are the same people now saying Modi should visit US. They represent US interest, not India's interests. These are traitors to Indian nation who use media channels for propaganda, probably with funds (direct and indirect) from western establishments.

Whether to visit US or not is Narendra Modi decision to make taking into consideration of all the matters necessary, but let us not give stupid and false arguments to make a case for it.

I think there is a lesson India can learn on how China general responded to statements from US against China, that 'US suffers from erectile dysfunction and they can be good friends or good enemies depending on how other side respects them'. So, to those who make many stupid arguments, get your balls right.

FOLLOWING DESERVES A CLOSE STUDY

USA must Apologize Narendra Modi
before Obama’s invitation is accepted

"A concealed truth, that's all a lie is. Either by omission or commission we never do more than obscure. The truth stays in the undergrowth, waiting to be discovered." Josephine Hart.

The President of USA, Barrack Obama congratulated Narendra Modi, the future Prime Minister of India, on his stunning and spectacular victory in spite of the ban imposed on him by the US government. First thing first. Enough is enough. US must tender an unequivocalapology to Narendra Modi and people of India for failing to apply impartial, balanced, and universal approach in implementing the law on religious freedom. This ban is not just on Narendra Modi but it is an insult to the people of India and Indian diaspora, an affront to the legal system of the land, an offensive to the vasudaika kutumbam (universal family) ideologythat pervades the land, and an insult to the principle of ahimsa (no-injury).

US must apologize before Narendra Modi
accepts the invitation to visit USA.

The stunning victory of Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party changed the course of history of India and its relation with other nations. No nation can ignore the will of the largest democracy on the planet. No other democratic nation would have similar claim. It is no wonder that US media, politicians, businessmen are waking up to take full advantage of the potential of Indian economic growth and to tap the Indian genius. Selective News media is creating a proper climate recognizing the double standards US imposed on Narendra Modi. “India’s Narendra Modi went from international outcast to invited guest, as the U.S. and U.K. saluted his opposition bloc’s triumph in national elections.” Jonathan Allen and Rajesh Kumar Singh of Bloomberg News observed. The Wall Street Journal stated that“Narendra Modi is the only person ever denied a U.S. visa based on a little-known law on religious freedom.”Thus Modi was shunned by USA and many European nations on a manufactured charge that he failed to stop the outbreak of religious riots in the State of Gujarat in 2002 when he was a Chief Minister. Reuters recognizes, “a seismic political shift that gives the Hindu nationalist and his party a mandate for sweeping economic reform.”

Following the election results,US president Barack Obama called and told Modi that he looked forward to working closely with him to "fulfill the extraordinary promise of the US-India strategic partnership.” The White House said"The president invited Narendra Modi to visit Washington at a mutually agreeable time to further strengthen our bilateral relationship." The White House spokesman Jay Carney said,"The prime minister of India will be welcomed in the United States," "We congratulate Narendra Modi and the BJP on winning a majority of seats in this historic election.Once the government is formed, we look forward to working closely with the prime minister and the cabinet to advance our strong bilateral relationship based on shared democratic values."

By this invitation, the US government has shunned its own policy, its own human rights approach, its own moral stance, its own philosophy and may be working against their democratic principles.

Who is behind the ban visa for Modi?
US government was swayed away by the Evangelical religious lobby groups whose interest is to demean Hinduism which is considered a threat for their deceptive, devious, inhuman practices of converting Hindus into Christianity. US was also influenced by Muslims with almost unlimited Petro dollars, NRI with their so called secular philosophy, some brown Hindus who were drenched in the syndrome of Macaulay’s (RajuRajagopal from California), Indian Christians who are bent on destroying the only surviving ancient religion, US politicians who are sold to the lobbyists, and so called liberals whose selective vision failed to see the atrocities of other religions and failed to see the denial of human rights in most of the Islamic countries.

Who was behind the visa ban? Zahir Janmohamed, who was part of the campaign to deny visa to Narendra Modi, wrote about the orchestrated efforts by certain groups in revealing article “U S Evangelicals, Indian Expats Teamed up to Push Through Modi Visa Ban.” He says push to ban visa for Modi “came about from a highly unusual coalition made up of Indian-born activists, evangelical Christians, Jewish leaders and Republican members of Congress concerned about religious freedom around the globe.”

Zahir should know. He said, “I had a front-row seat to these events as they unfolded. I worked in Washington. D.C., from 2003 to 2011, mostly at Amnesty International and in the United States Congress, and I was a part of the campaign to deny Mr. Modi a visa.”

Why USA denied Visa in 2005 ?
President George W. Bush, who was a Christian fundamentalist, who has close ties with evangelical Christian groups, used relatively unknown law for the first time in its history to deny Modi a visa in 2005 on the grounds of "severe violations of religious freedom."Fareed Zakaria called the U.S. ostracism of Modi "selective, arbitrary and excessive."

On February 27,2002 the trouble started in the State of Gujarat when about 60 Hindu pilgrims were burnt alive in a train. It was believed that Muslims locked the compartments to prevent the passengers to escape and set fire to the train. The riots broke out. About 1000 people were killed – about 300 Hindus and 700 Muslims. Media and critics charged that Modi, being a Hindu fundamentalist, did not do enough to stop the carnage. Modi has denied of any wrongdoing vehemently. Cases were filed against Modi for the riots and the killings.

Supreme Court absolved him of all the charges
The case was filed in Supreme Courtwhich appointed SIT (Special Investigation Team) to investigate the culpability and report it back to the Court. 1) A Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) said on February 9, 2012 that it has no evidence that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had any role in the 2002 deadly religious riots in the western Indian state, a local court reviewing the report said.

2) "No evidence has been found against any of the 62 accused as per the SIT report," City Magistrate M.S. Bhatt said on local television news channels Tuesday.

3) SIT examined five different speeches given by Mr. Modi and concluded by saying that it established his commitment to punish the guilty and uphold the law.

4) After discussing a number of events, the SIT concluded: “In the light of the aforesaid discussion, the interpretation made on alleged illegal instructions … appear to be without any basis.” Because, “everywhere the genesis and intention was one and the same, i.e., to punish the culprits responsible for the Godhra incident in an exemplary manner, so that such incidents did not recur ever again.”

Does US respect the law of the land?
The SIT report was submitted in February 2012 absolving all the charges against Narendra Modi. If the US has any respect for the law of the land, it should have reexamined the ban, accepted the decree of the highest court of India, apologized to Narendra Modi and revoked the ban. Instead, they were singing the same old song to the tune provided by evangelical Christians, select group of anti-Hindu US Congress representative such as Joe Pitts, Frank Wolf, Trent Franks, and Keith Ellis assisted by John Conyers. They showed no respect for the justice system of India. Did any of these Congressmen question the Supreme Court decision on the election of George Bush?

They even spoke in December 2012 in front of the Capitol Hill against the revocation of the ban. That only shows how blind they were to the law of the land, how they may have been forced to speak the language of evangelicals, and how they becamedeceptively anti-Hindu since Modi is described as a Hindu Chauvinist. It is amazing to find out how these Congress men who hold hearings on everything except the massacres of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh and take no action against these countries. Furthermore,25 US Congressmen in a letter written in December 2012 had urged Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to denying visas to Modi as his government has not adequately pursued justice of the victims. This letter suggests that they are determined to ostracize Modi for the sake of pleasing the evangelical Christiana, Muslims and selected India Hindu haters and shed their own judgment, reasoning, objectivity, rationale and fairness. So much for justice and preservation of religious freedom.

Hypocritical policy toward Religious Freedom
If the US is embracing and advocating the freedom of religion for all religions, not just for Christians and Muslims, it had enough evidence to examine and revoke the ban. In many cases, US has been on the wrong side supporting the leaders and countries that have denied the religious freedom and subjected the other religious people to rape, torture, conversion and killings.

If we look at the history of United States that it has supported the political leaders that have violated the religious freedom of other religious people and turned its blind eye toward the atrocities committed against the humanity in many counties. In fact they have invited the leaders whose hands were drenched with blood. Aseem Shukla observed that “Hypocrisy is never a lonely noun on Capitol Hill. The United States protects the leader of Rwanda despite his support of genocidal Tutsi rebels in the Congo. Chinese leaders enjoy visits here despite their violent religious persecution of Tibetans, and Burmese leaders got a President Barack Obama visit in spite of that government's summary executions and rape of the Indian-origin Rohingya people.”

In Bangladesh there were about 28 percent Hindus at the time of Independence in 1947. At present there are less than 7 percent Hindus. They were either forcibly converted, raped, tortured or killed. Their Hind Temples were destroyed and their Gods were mutilated. Did the US Congress had any hearings about the plight of Hindus? Did they find out why their population was declining year by year?Abdul Ghaffar Chowdhury, a columnist and liberal activist from London lamented that "After seeing what is happening to the minorities, I am ashamed to say I am a Muslim," Did the US Congress ban any Visas from Bangladesh?

Similarly, Hindus in Pakistan at the time of Independence was about 20 percent and now it declined to less than one percent. Did US Congress or Human Rights Watch took notice of the plight of Hindus? Not only they did not bar Pakistani officials from entering USA, they invited them to white house with proper protocols. Moreover the US government funnels Billions of dollars without ever asking a serious questions about the violations of freedom of religion.

US welcomes the dictator of Saudi Arabia with red carpet who would not grant any religious freedom to Hindus and other religions, confiscate the pictures of their chosen Gods, tear up all the religious books at the airport, and arrest non-Muslims for practicing their religion. Nelson Mandela was listed as terrorist by US until 2008 for his fight against apartheid policies that have denied the human rights to blacks. Where were these organizations such as Human Rights Commission, Human Rights Watch, US Congress, Amnesty International, Institute on Religious and Public Policy, andUnited States Commission on International Religious Freedom who profess to monitor the violations of human right, the denial of religious freedom, and the ethnic cleansing?

In fact US government supported the dictator of Chili, Shah of Iran, Marcos of Philippines, and every despot from Middle-East, and Africa, whose hands were smeared with blood. US has attacked and destroyed Iraq under false pretext without having any evidence of biological weapons.

Apology is in ORDER by USA to Narendra Modi for imposing a selective, exclusive policy that denied his visa. US has no moral integrity to deny him while embracing all the country leaders who have engaged in human rights violations, conducted ethnic cleansing, denied freedom of religion, depleted Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh, and remained silent when Kashmiri pundits were forced flee their homes to live in tents.
